hi ive installed the extension but im struggling on making it work. the extension's enabled but the keys are not working?? im testing them out through this video but i dont see the difference. help is very much appreciated thank you!
Depends on the apps and if they offer it. I have not seen any tv apps (except RUclips) to offer playback speed changing. So it's probalby not possible.
Thanks for the video. I used this to watch my lectures at a faster pace but now the educational institute has employed AI in their portal which blocks this extension. Is there any way to bypass AI detection and still able to increase speed?
Interesting they’d do this, all I have seen in research is that adjusted playback speed would increase the ability to comprehend information for some. So it seems strange to block this type of extension. One idea I’d have is to install the extension as a custom one by downloading it from GitHub so that it’s not the standard extension Id. Or check if the developers have an idea. Alternatively, see if another speed adjust app on the extension store works.
I don’t use android so I am not 100% sure. But if it’s anything like iOS it’s only possible on sites that already support it in browsers like RUclips vor example (with the cog ⚙️ icon).

Depending on what I'm watching or listening to, sometimes I like to use 8x for instance if I want to go back to something I already listened to or watched and don't remember the specific time stamp, I can blast through copious amounts of content until I find what I'm looking for
Hey bro..on edge after the video plays lets say im using 6x faster ,it wont go yo the next one but rather it waits for a little longer so as to go foward ..In other words it just waits for the specific time like 5 mins originally so as to go forward...how can I enable it just go to the next option after me putting a 6x speed
If you use Discord in the browser, it should work (but obviously only with recorded videos, not with live streams). In the stand alone app it probably does not work.
If you are watching these videos in Chrome on a laptop/computer then this extension should be able to do this for you. Click into the video, and normally you should see the overlay in the top left corner.

Often times I found that clicking into the video to "set the focus to the video" can help when the keyboard shortcuts don't function propperly.

record the video and speed up the recorded version . I don't think you can speed up their streaming rate . It's probably maxxed out as it is .

Understandable, you also can get extensions like this from the Chrome Extension store. I think I am nowadays using one that's on the extension store.
