This is it, this is the most perfect and flawless movie to exist. Its too bad the second movie didnt live up to the first one but its hard to compete with such a perfect movie
Well unfortunately the movie itself does not as it portrayed other non-USA Yeagers poorly . The other countries have "advance" Yeagers with unique gimmick but they're hilariously ineffective and short lived compared to "outdated" USA Yeager with extremely overpowered weaponry and the best pilots.

Or just use one of them insane invisible lasers China has to shoot them in the Eyes. And now we even hav rail guns, it wouldn’t be hard at all to make a Giant Rail Sniper with a hollow point depleted uranium titanium round and just shoot a kaiju from 4 miles away. Them. Rail guns can fire one round and go through 7 concrete walls in less than a second. No Kaiju can survive that or dodge that.
@@saturnianrings3920 you couldnt realistically drop something on a kaiju except if its a really slow one or else it will dodge it. as for the rail gun, it would probably be effective but then again, from my knowledge we currently dont have any lasers that can do damage except for blinding people and dont forget that they were trying to stop the jaeger production because they were losing more jaegers than defeating kaijus wich probably means they were having ressource issues so i dont know how feasable a giant railgun would be.
Watched this movie like 15 times and it still doesn't get old but the first fight I'll never understand they were under the water how on earth did the manage to pop up above the water like did the shrink or crouch just so it can look cooler
They close their hatches to submerge that's why they were under water, so I guess they have a system to increase buoyancy thus being able to pop above the water. Hope that answered your question :D

The chain sword was just added to gipsy cuz when they rebuild the jaeger they added pther stuff to the jaeger like the chainsword so they didn't know about it at first

I was always worried about one of the scientists syncing up with one of The Kaiju Brains for fear of him being mind controlled and taken over. Lo and behold, once the sequel came out, my concerns manifested.

After monsters started wreaking everything, humanity decided to fight back and after the United nation watched a ton of anime they decide to build giant robots, robots designed to do one thing punch monsters in the face.
Love this movie but it never made sense to me why humanity required giant robots to kill these things. In our universe railguns exist and idk if you’ve ever seen a video of a rail gun being fired but there is no way In hell anything with a pulse can survive a shot from that. Our tech would’ve been sufficient enough to mass produce advanced railguns along the coast to instantly neutralize the kaiju. But hay if that was the case we would’ve never gotten such an awesome movie ☠️😂.
Kaijus were made to kill humans even after dying. There blood is extremely toxic so a railgun shell would be bad as it would cause the blood to leak into the ocean making the area uninhabitable. Then there’s the fact that each Kaiju is connected in a hive mind which enables them to learn from their mistakes meaning that the railguns would only work a few times
@@Vanishingink4 true true but my rebuttal to that would be if we improved our detection as well as being more intuitive with our deployment or use of them we would be able to neutralize a target before it ever got close to the coastal wall. I don’t know though 😂☠️ we can go on and on with speculation on what could and couldn’t happen so on and so on.
@@The1neWhoKnockz problem is the from what I have noticed from the movie the Kaiju stays submerged from the time it leaves the breach until it starts to get to shallower waters where it’s back would be exposed because it is shown in the first scene for example the water goes up to Gypsy dangers thighs. They usually surface in the bay or harbor because they wouldn’t be have enough room to stay submerged. Also the aliens creating the Kaiju are able to alter them to suit specific purpose like leatherback who has an emp because they aliens noticed that the walking nuclear reactor Jaegers like Gypsy Or Cherno are becoming very rare. Then there is the one that is able to fly who’s name I don’t know how to spell. The aliens would alter the Kaiju to be able to overcome the railguns. What I don’t understand is why not create some sort of defensive line or cover the breach with something they have the power to make 12 story nuclear powered mechs but not some sort of laser grid or electric fence?

@@Vanishingink4 very true, maybe rail guns in combination with mechs like gypsy would be a better option ? I’m sure it would’ve reduced losses aswell as improved efficiency.
@@The1neWhoKnockz if they were more mobile on a platform with legs most likely or if they could operate underwater and protect the opening of the bay. Or the rail guns weaking or even finishing them off could work
