I’m trying to start this cute little vest but already in the first row I get into trouble. Could you help me out please? It says to start with 3 chains which it the first stitch and then 11 stitches which makes it 12 stitches but at the end you end up with only 11 stitches. When I then start with the next row I have to skip 4 stitches to reach the corner. What am I doing wrong,please. Kind regards Thea
Hi! I think we’ve got 12 when we calculate the increase at the corner. When you do it the way Majovel says you will get the correct amount of stitches.

You have to measure the neck contour where you want the neckline to go. Because it depends on the thread you are going to use. It is always better to measure. But I think that a 30 centimeter neck is good for that age. If you want it with more neckline about 35 centimeters
