    Our pool lights were already not working when we purchased our old home. I’ve been looking for something like this. Glad I came across your review. I just purchased one thru your link. 😊

    Quick question, what about automatic robots for inground pools? Because these are wired, do you see any issues using a robot?

    • @Myksgarage
      @Myksgarage  Год назад

      I have 2 robots and they do t climb the walls, so I've had no problems

  • @franny5295

    Do they strobe enough to pose a seizure risk?
    Edited add: That's a really neat light. I bought one but I haven't installed it yet. I just wondered how careful I should be about the strobing with my son's friends in the pool. I don't think any of them have issues with seizures but with kids you never know. They have a way of surprising us.
    Edited to add one more time: Yeah, I think I'll keep it on a static or with music. That strobe effect can get intense.

    • @Myksgarage
      @Myksgarage  Год назад

      Yeah the strobe can get pretty intense!

    Do you know how the color of the plaster effects the color of the LEDs? i.e. will a darker plaster, make a purple light look brown for example? Thanks for the video!

      Not sure, mine was white so that was all I was able to test it on.

    Great job on the review. Did you find a way to hide the cords coming out of the pool? Cords just strung throughout would annoy me and could pose a tripping hazard.

    • @Myksgarage

      Yeah I couldn't find a way to hide the cords

      It’s a shame, great product, but with no way to hide the cord, that’s a big no for me.

      I passed the chords through the old niches so had to cut the RGB wires..can I extend the RGB cables and if so what is the max they can be extended to avoid decrease in voltage?

    Is the music from youtube or a site where they play music? Or is it on their app?

    • @Myksgarage
      @Myksgarage  Год назад +1

      The app has a few preloaded songs, and then you can play any music from your phone that you want

    • @Myksgarage
      @Myksgarage  Год назад

      You don't how to glue them on the line or they're just magnetic, so it shouldn't damage it

    • @jdog7979
      @jdog7979 3 месяца назад

      @@Myksgarage I thought you had to glue the magnet part on to the pool (In this case the liner) or how else will the light magnet to just liner... Actually, on most liner pools, the upper wall behind the liner is some sort of metal... 🤔

    Tuck the cords into the concrete joints and seal with an expansion compound. The cords in the flower bed are easy. Remove the stone and dig a small trench, tuck the wire in, and cover it up.

    Bad idea and design. Won't pass codes. Too many violations to mention here.
    Not to mention did you see the electric pool cover. He has to unplug his pool lights every time he wants to put his pool cover over the pool. Which means to plug has to be placed on the underside of the pool cover when not in use. That makes the plug possibly needed to be placed in the pool water to get it out of the way. Sanitizer would wind up eating up the electrical components. In our professional opinion, he should have chosen pool lights that have been properly vetted by the pool industry for maximum safety and proper installation.
