Step down from a leather pair but the colorway is so nice it balances out. 8.5/10

it's hard to beat the colorway, but I can't do more than $200 or so on Satin. 8.1/10

It’s a show casing shoe for the right setting. I think it looks great.
I do wish, Nike would make/release the classic collection but I figure they won’t just to hold the value on them.
My wish list: Jordan 11 Retro Cap & Gown, Jordan 1 Retro Chicago, Jordan 1 Retro UNC, Jordan 18 OG White & Red, Jordan 6 Retro DMP (2020).
Jordan Brand took the decision out of my hands with these as they aren't available in my size ; but they weren't a must cop for me. Bred 1s are one of my all time favorite colorways but on top of not being in my size the satin material had me hesitant anyway. I much prefer leather on all counts ; satin isn't bad on the eye / looks pretty good tbh. But with durability and wearability they aren't practical. Satin doesn't hold up , can crease like crazy , very easy to get dirty and very difficult to clean. Satin sneakers are just not practical kicks to wear imo , looks / appearance wise pretty good but way too fragile and high maintenance a material for me.

Had em in my cart decided to pass! Have aj1 black satin 1 that came out few years ago hated the toe box! Even with theshoe shield Creased made it look like shit! They look nice but Not a fan of satin prefer tumble leather on toe box

These look off to me, the eyelets make me think of the AJKO. I have the 2016 breds so it’s a pass for me personally.

jordan brand has gotten extremely lazy. over here releasing watered down versions of iconic colorways and people still eating them up even with increased retail prices.
