Agreed one of the most balanced and beautiful tones on the market. You can then fine tune the EQ to whatever you want. I too wish they made wider neck versions of these although 1.75 in. is good for most but I would REALLY love however, to see a 24.75" scale version. The 25.5" scale on these makes them much harder to fret. My poor older fingers just struggle with my LL16D now.
Wonderful guitarist. Amazing guitar. Yamaha makes some of the finest instruments and value for the money spent. Yes, I own a few, but would wish for this guitar.
I got one of these beautiful guitars I find myself bringing it to fund raisers leaving my d45 Martin at home what a sound that comes out of this guitar wow.
@@Steven-Duffy you can find them for $4K USD at some of the major guitar stores. i ordered one today they've had on order, adn they said it will be here next week or week after. i'm a beginner, but wanted something nice.
I wish Yamaha would have a wide nut version on their top guitars like Taylor, Takamine, and other top brands. 1.69-1.75 inches nut width is just to small for a large number of bigger American players with large hands and or thick chunky fingers. They are missing a huge number of potential sales IMHO.
I don't care what your recommendation is I don't like Jumbos I don't like maple back and sides. You act like your the only person that has ever played one smh. You really are a noob.

Not sure how you figure that. I heard terrible Jumbo's that didn't compete at all with dreadnaughts I've heard. Problem with Jumbo's in my opinion is most of them if not all have maple back and sides. I don't like the characteristics of maple because it has none really. Also a bigger guitar doesn't mean it's gonna be louder. That's on the specific guitar within itself. Save goes for tone
@@atta1798 dude that's not always the case. I heard Jumbo's that weren't loud even when dug in hard. It comes down to other factors as well that's gonna make a acoustic loud. I heard loud full sounding acoustics as far as both Jumbo's and dreadnaughts and concert size and weak crappy ones of all 3. You wanna talk about physics than you should understand the physics of wood and know not every piece of same specie and even same piece from the same tree sound or resonate the same . You should understand the physics of bracing, neck joint connection the height of a saddle and density of the saddle and other factors that create the resonance and tone of a specific guitar. Don't come at me about physics because your only talking about the least important part of physics of a guitar. I have a gibson jumbo and trust me my Eastman dreadnoughts are louder and fuller sounding than the jumbo. You literally have no clue what your talking about.
