🌟 I had a 1968 Commando Fastback when I was eighteen, index no. NFV188G. It was the best bike I had. I now have a 2011 W800, which I love. I would swap it in a heartbeat for another Commando, it won't happen of course but I can still dream. I'm 68 at the end of the year and intend riding until I can't push the start button any longer 😅😜😂 Love the channel, I subscribed today 👍🏽
I had the identical looking mk3 in Canada between 1986 and 2001. I miss that sound. The first thing I did in '86 was remove the blown out mk3 pipes and put on stainless pea shooters. I'd buy it back but the current owner won't sell it!
Mine came from Minnesota, under 5000 miles on the clock, repainted tank and panels, new exhausts and that was about it,great bike, love it. I can see why you want it back, and here in England the prices are down, good time to buy. YB
Nice Job...The player color scheme was always my favorite. They do make kits to retrofit an electric start to your other non e start bike. They are supposed to be good quality kit that is plug and play to install. Thanks for the ride.
@@kennethgianetti4590 i think the Alton is just over 2k and Colorado Norton works just under 3k when shipped to UK with Tax . Not exactly pocket money, just bought a 500 Triumph for not a lot more. YB

i myself was a big Triumph fan, until i bought my first commando a mk11 850, the mk3 came as my knees don't like the kicking these days, Thanks YB
Absolutely beautiful! The only thing I struggle with is the frontbrake...
The brake is typical 70s, a bit wooden, Now the chrome as worn off the disc and with the new ferodo pad its not to bad. YB
Lovely machine 🤓👍
Cheers for the video. Bike looks great and sounds good too. Magic commentary.
thanks YB
Sorry if I've deleted your comments , i forgot how it all works, must be my age.
thanks YB

Thank its nice to get a good response. The wife's a keeper she supports most thing i do
Cheer YB
Wouldn't use e10 anymore, makes the bike run like a bag of spanners compared to 99octane.
Out of all my bikes i cart tell any difference, but if i do ill use super. cheers YB
You want to sell it ? I’ve been looking for quite a while.
I was thinking of selling my mk2 as my knees are not so good, that's why i wanted the mk3 YB
