It was soooo close plus he told them about his idol right before tribal so I think anything could have happened. You live and learn and next time, it's better off to just use the idol if you know you're getting votes and if there's uncertainty at tribal. I also wonder if Hunter's downfall was doing too well during the hide-and-go-seek game.
