(Don’t know how to edit on mobile) Edit: This was the best, most cohesive and informative exit interview this season No disrespect but a few premerge interviews left me fully understanding why I would have voted them off early too
It would be an interesting if they changed the rules so that you can play your idol after the votes are read. It would make more people keep it a secret and it would hold more power in the game, a reward for your effort in finding it, instead of it always being misplayed, not played. Idols, including immunity idols, are arguably more of a detriment than an advantage. Spencer arguably should have lost challenges on purpose until a later point in the game, which sounds crazy but it’s always an average player who ends up winning
why not play the idol though, and then go look for it after it goes back in the game? I mean if Q plays his shot in the dark, then was he going to play the idol? I think in this situation if you know votes are coming your way and you can't get them off of you, then play the idol and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. I mean why not be 100% safe, with a 12.5% chance to find another idol (really 14% because Liz ain't looking) plus you have been at the end of all of the challenges with a chance to win. If anyone should have ever played an idol in that situation it should have been Hunter, because he still had outs on the other side, plus his shot in the dark when he didn't have immunity.
This is one of the main "problems" of the new era. People are too scare to play idols and if they play the idol and have 50% of chance to be gone the next tribal. Even if Hunter play it right, he would only be safe for 1 or 2 more days. After that he is gone. Caleb was saved by his shot in the dark just to be eliminated next week. Useless players that can win challenges know that this is the only way they can reach final 5 and probably win the game. This is why we have so many lame winners lately.
At least it made sense on why he didn't play his idol. I don't know though, a single vote your decision was riding on. I feel I would have just played instead of chancing it. Not like you are going to be making anybody mad with the decision.
This was a fantastic interview. Really wish we got more time.

why not play the idol though, and then go look for it after it goes back in the game? I mean if Q plays his shot in the dark, then was he going to play the idol? I think in this situation if you know votes are coming your way and you can't get them off of you, then play the idol and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. I mean why not be 100% safe, with a 12.5% chance to find another idol (really 14% because Liz ain't looking) plus you have been at the end of all of the challenges with a chance to win. If anyone should have ever played an idol in that situation it should have been Hunter, because he still had outs on the other side, plus his shot in the dark when he didn't have immunity.
plus had he played his idol, then Tiffany would have used her idol too (or at least that's what she said in her confessional.)
@@josephlim6854yeah so 2 idols get burnt, and atleast 1 will definitely re-enter the game
Did Hunter just say “kiki-ing” at the 7:35 mark? 😍
Not on my bingo card 😂
This is one of the main "problems" of the new era. People are too scare to play idols and if they play the idol and have 50% of chance to be gone the next tribal.
Even if Hunter play it right, he would only be safe for 1 or 2 more days. After that he is gone.
Caleb was saved by his shot in the dark just to be eliminated next week.
Useless players that can win challenges know that this is the only way they can reach final 5 and probably win the game. This is why we have so many lame winners lately.
If you aren’t a hundred percent play the idol. The man is great at challenges not the best at strategy
At least it made sense on why he didn't play his idol. I don't know though, a single vote your decision was riding on. I feel I would have just played instead of chancing it. Not like you are going to be making anybody mad with the decision.
So are the like under some sort of contract that says the interview can only be a certain length??
real question tho, who is putting a time limit on those?
