    Very impressed Mista! I like how you added your own artistic feel to make YOUR model. Years ago when i built my ships i did the same added a few bits of scratch build to make them look more real. I have an old video review of my sailing ships i built on my channel.
    Now after watching your's and few other fellas videos im inspired the get back into building again.
    (mind you, i was very surprised at how much kit prices have increased since i built my last one - strewth!!)
    Cheers

    In the '60s I built the Revell H350-200 kit of the Bismarck. I was 11-12 at the time. I remember it was a tough build but I finally got it finished.

    Marvelous job. This looks like the kit to get if one is serious about building a fine ship like this.

      TheLostSingles Thank you so much. It was a fun build. I have his brother TIRPITZ. One day I get it on the beach.

    Fantastic model. The detail is amazing. I am a beginner at this, built my first 1:72 scale U-Boat earlier this month.
    I look forward to seeing Tirpitz coming together.

      David Clark Hey Dave, welcome! Thank you for the compliment. TIRPITZ will be coming soon. We all were beginners once. Once you start it’s hard to stop. Glad to have you here! Don’t be a stranger!

    Excellent work! It seems you've accomplished your vision for this project.
    May i suggest you try Lycra for your rigging? It stretches, so you can get it tight without putting a ton of tension on the masts. It also won't pull the masts down if you bump it.
    I would also urge you to play with more photo etch, you'll love what it can bring to the final product.

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  6 лет назад

      evilgenius66 I will try the Lycra. Great suggestion! Just hope it does not pull to much on the masts? The PE set I had for Bismarck wasn’t the best. It had a lot of bends that couldn’t be repaired so I just left them out. Tirpitz however, will be a different story. Glad you like the Bismarck.

      Kyle Bell I sure wish their was more documentation on YAMATO and MUSASHI. I sometimes think MUSASHI May have been bigger being the 2nd of her class? The BISMARCK build was fun. I will do a build video log on RUclips of TIRPITZ.

    Good model and a great ship. I can't wait to start on mine as I'm waiting for the PE parts, deck sheet and RC parts to come through. Keep it up.

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  6 лет назад

      OC Gangsta Thank you. Are you planning on putting yours in the water? I only ask because of the wood deck parts. Not sure how it will fair in the water if that’s the case?

    • @OCGangsta
      @OCGangsta 6 лет назад +1

      Yes I am but I saw some other videos and it seemed to work with them. There should be some way in which I can make it waterproof but I'll have to look it up.

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  6 лет назад

      OC Gangsta As soon as water gets under the wood it will lift the adhesive. I’m really not sure how your going to do it? I’ll rack my brain.... if you come up with a solution please share.

      Ok. My grandfather did build a boat from scratch with two coach engines and that was wooden hulled but the only problem is that I can't ask him as he's been dead for some time.

    Good kit...and nice built....I have to admit that this out the box built Tamiya kit..is superior than Revell kit in some issues.....mainly that that has no flaws in their small pieces....and the main turrets (Caesar, Dora, Anton....) looks more accurate than the Revell ones....CONGRATULATIONS...!!

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  6 лет назад +1

      PEPE HIDALGO Thank you. I’ve never built the Revell kit only the Tamiya one. I can’t wait to get started on TIRPITZ.

    I don't have the Bismarck yet, but this is a temptation for sure (shall we say, excuse?) to get it. The Germans sure build good-looking stuff; unlike the fat ones like the Missouri and the Yamato, the Bismarck is streamlined, aqua-nomic.
    You build very cleanly, and like you said you give your models the respect they deserve. I like clean models too, but in my view I hope to make them look less plasticky. Perhaps a little bit of weathering on the deck? After all, even new ships have weather-beaten decks, I would think.
    Can you do a video to show and explain how you do the rigging? Thanks for sharing!

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  6 лет назад

      Jeremy Tan Bigger the guns, fatter the ships lol.. I can do a video on the rigging the next time I get to that point. Once I do a ship at its waterline I’ll do some weathering and such..

    Are those the measurements for the stern flag at the very end of the ship or the one on the same wire as the black and white flag with the iron cross?
    I'm talking about the one on the same wire as the iron cross

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  4 года назад

      The one I measured is the stern flag. (End of the ship) The The Iron Cross flag is very small.

    May i ask what paint you used for hull and super structure? I have a Bismarck ready to paint but it is driving me mad what shade of grey to paint it. I'm torn between using 3 different tones of grey to be accurate but I think I am leaning towards using a single shade for hull and superstructure similar to your model as it looks fantastic and matches the wood deck. The XF-54 recommended by tamiya seems much to dark.

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  5 лет назад

      For all my Hulls I use Tamiya's DULL RED TS-33. It is a spray. If you go to my YAMATO build videos you will see it there. The BISMARCK build was to far along to do a series on. Hope this helps?

    Hello Sir,
    I really enjoyed your video on the Bismarck. I am concerned about why is the Nazi Symbol not on the deck of the bow?
    Sincerely
    Allan

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  6 лет назад

      Allan Martinez I’m still trying to figure out how to put detail onto a real wood deck without it ruining it? Every time I try it makes it look really bad to say the least. I’ve tried painting it, decals, dry transfers & simply stickers, but none worked. So I just omitted it... I know it’s not accurate to the real ship. Bismarck at times did not have the swastika on the deck however, the paint scheme I chose to use would have had it at the bow and stern at that time.... I’m glad you do like my build with the omitted details.

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  6 лет назад

      Handrails May be difficult now that it’s all built? As for how much I would sell it for $500.000. Plus shipping. That’s probably on the low side, but I don’t have my website up yet and no professional photos taken.

    nice model but if you have a German Flag with the swastika at the stern why not put the swastika band that was on the bow. also I also like models with very little weathering since too much weathering makes the impression of you're trying to make it like the crew of the ship neglected the ship too much.

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  5 лет назад

      Thank you. During the ships short timeline it had different paint schemes and markings. I chose to go with the look before the bow swastikas were added. I also did not want to much NAZI insignia on the ship for many Kriegsmarine Brass and sailors did not like the Nazi mandates. Because I was not adding any crew figures and was putting the model on a stand I wanted the "new" look.

  • @jacobswrld8251
    @jacobswrld8251 4 года назад +1

    This stuff gets confusing being that there are two almost identical flags on the ship
    I am building my ship after the one from May 21 1941

    • @inclusivemodeldesigns16
      @inclusivemodeldesigns16  4 года назад

      If you are building the 1:200 scale ship the set I used would be good. The flag I used on the stern would be great for what you need it for.. But not good for your stern. I believe?

    Port propeller is wrong...starboard prop spins clockwise...port and centre spin counterclockwise on the real ship so pitch of blades on props must be other way
