When I wore English Leather cologne (Mem version) back in the 1970's, they came in a really nice wooden box. Aside from weakening the formula over the years, Dana now mixes the fragrance in the USA and ships it to China for bottling! I can't see how shipping the fragrance back and forth in varying climates on freighters can possibly help the fragrance! I bought a few vintage Mem (and Dana) bottles of English Leather in the last few years, and have found that the top notes have turned in a few of them. The big problem I have with buying used splash bottles is that both aftershaves AND colognes function as aftershave lotions for men, and there's a chance that after splashing on cuts after the shave, men like to go back to the bottle for more. Even though the alcohol content should kill any germs from the backwash....YECCH! That's why I only use vintage splashes on the arms.
💜✌️Thank you for your compliment 😊 The sets are the way to go. I was looking for a larger bottle of the Lime cologne, but it looks like the bigger bottles of Lime are kindof pricey right now. Let me know if you end up getting a set, I’m interested in what you think 😃

Brut smells so good
I haven’t smelled Brut, that’s a classic, do you think it holds up to these modern men’s colognes? How would you describe the smell?
@johannahhuttenstone omg it's so manly and spicy every time I smell it my knees get weak
Great video. Love the research and info on all the obscure flankers. I need to find one of those mini sets. Well done.. cheers ✌🏻🙏🏻
