Okay RetroBlasting and BatmanMarch, get ready for a sequel or being Doctor Who should we say the next episode? B&M just announced new companion sets so we'll now have these companions you listed as well: classic Sarah Jane Smith (from Genesis of the Daleks) Harry Sullivan (Sontaran Experiment) Brigadier, Benton and Yates (Claws of Axos), and Romana I (Pirate Planet) and Romana II (Destiny of the Daleks). I absolutely can't wait!!!
The War Doctor was great. Also, wasted regenerations don't really matter anymore. It may not be what you wanted, but it's what happened. I don't think it's right to leave him off of a list.
What grinds my gears is that they asked Eccleston and he said no…they then dismissed the idea of asking McGann as they felt nobody watching would know who he was.
I like the invasion of time. The sontarans are cool. I did a sontaran marathon where I watched all sontaran episodes in one sitting and I enjoyed invasion.
Is it likeness issues? Is that why there's still no Adric? Adric was SO pivotal in "Earthshock". Is it because he has practically just 1 look, with limited opportunities for repaints?
John Hurt as the War Doctor was great. He didn't have much screen time, but it's such an interesting idea. There was a secret regeneration that the doctor basically disowned.
At the time of writing this we still have only one Donna Noble figure, with her coat from Planet of the Ood, when she only wore that once, I'd saythey need to release a brown leather coat variant from Turn Left/Stolen Earth/Journeys End, it's the one used in all of the promotions
This was a great video, loved the back and forth and I am really looking forward to your next Doctor Who video. Keep up the good work my friend, we really appreciate it.
Character 5 inch line I Love and there is Such a Grand chose to choose from. Daleks my Fav is the Gun Metal Grey and Silver from Death to the Daleks, my Tardis is the Shada one , and 7th Doctor's . there's so many Great Sets and Figures.
I'm hopeful that there will be even more choices, from even more of the companions in the future. In fact...more choices for everything! Then you can easily have your personal favorites. Thanks for the informative & enlightening video, as always!
They've done several versions of Troughton's Doctor but not one attempt at Jamie or Victoria? Oh my giddy aunt! Not to mention the First Doctor had the biggest entourage with 11 different companions, and not one of them released? A bit short sighted.
My comment disagreeing with Michael on War Doctor disappeared... Weird. Let's try again, I like the War Doctor he played his part well enough in the story and John Hurt's performance makes the character worth it so I think the story is just fine as it is.
Hello. I’m a huge obsessed fan of Doctor Who and started collecting but I still have a lot of questions about it... you told us that it’s better to buy Rose from the uk, but what package is from the uk one??
I personally don't think he works. I find the idea of jamming a regeneration in the past of the character is pointless when McGann could have played the part (unless he was asked and turned it down, which I don't think is the case), but more egregiously I think it's symptomatic of Steven Moffat's desire to put "clever" ideas into the show to make his mark on it rather than because they're particularly good (which I think is actually exemplified by the fact that it could have been McGann, but that would have been less "clever"). Plus, I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I find John Hurt's performance to be overacted in a lot of places, but that's possibly a consequence of the fact that a lot of the script is banter between the Doctors which is self-indulgent and uninteresting to me, which I understand is actually the reason Christopher Eccleston turned the part down himself.
@@lapelcelery42 The reason Eccleston turned down the role os cause he can't stand the BBC or RTD and doesn't want to work on the show again, unless it's through Big Finish's audios or such
"We've not really had a Sarah Jane from the classic series."
Looks like you got your wish

I agree that Paul Mcgann should have been in the 50th anniversary instead of the War Doctor. A waste of a regeneration, as well.
I kinda like John Hurt's war Doctor. Glad they made a toy of him.

Nothing brings back such good childhood memories than the “New Earth” Rose Tyler and k-9
I really hope we get a Nyssa/Tegan/Adric set at some point to go with the 5th Doctor
Ikr I can’t believe they haven’t gave us figures of the most iconic companion trio!!!

Great video. The tribute to the ending of The Hand of Fear, Sarah Jane's exit from the show, was SPOT ON!
I really wish we’d get a Dragonfire 3-pack with Mel, Glitz, and Kane. We’re in dire need of more classic companions, allies, and enemies in general.
That is a good one, and another one I think they should do is a three pack of Adric, Nyssa, and Tegan
Enjoyed the video but I was hoping you would have talked about definitive Cyberman and Sontaran as well.
To be fair, like the Dalek, that kinda just comes down to your personal favorite design variant.
@Gojirawars03 Yeah, and Iwanted to know what Mike's were.

Another great video collaboration,Mike! This is a great companion to those who are not familiar and new to the Doctor Who universe...like me.

A very fine follow up video...cracking set of choices by the pair of you 👌
It's not a vest, it's a WAISTCOAT....
Thanks Marshall, it's helpful when douches identify themselves right away. Saves a lot of time and effort.
20:43 character options must’ve watched this because they’ve released a figure of the fur coat second doctor months ago lol 😂
oh we're gonna need a part 3 with all the recent (and upcoming) Daleks, companions (classic and new... where was Bill in this vid?), and monsters!

I could have sworn I just watched this. Is this a reupload? Oh well, time to favor and comment again.
Yeah it's a re-upload. Lol I was getting the weirdest sense of deja vu
Glad I wasn't the only one.

Great vid I belive there’s now a classic Sarah Jane and think Susan first doc and Jamie second doc now realsed
Only Sarah Jane. she came in a set with both versions of romana
@Aunchient Pistol definitely!
Do you know where I can get a wisher davros?
Did the teased video for "The Importance of Being Sarah Jane Smith" get released yet? Have searched the channel, but no sign of it.
Not yet
OK, thanks. Looking forward to seeing it some day.
Thanks for another good vid :)
No companions from the OG Doctors?
The war doctor.... is 9. Simple!
Donna?
No, their names are Michael and Matthew...
Dæmons not demons
Daemons is pronounced "demons" though.
How doesn’t the war doctor work?
I know! I love him and it's sad how people just dismiss him as a "mistake"
