This was kind of painful to watch. Huginn & Muninn were ravens, not crows, Jormungandr was male, Fenrir was a son of Loki, Loki is Sleipnir's mother, Audhumla licked the ice that released Buri & he had a son named Bor (it's unclear how Buri had a son...possibly from one of the giantess's bore by Ymir, who was asexual & could reproduce on his own, or possibly another being licked free from the ice by Audhumla). Bor married Bestla & they had Odin, Vili & Ve. Ymir was essentially Odin, Vili & Ve's grandfather & the world was created from Ymir's corpse, mispronunciations of names left & right. Norse mythology is quite complex & a lot is unknown due to christianity destroying our tales of old. please don't destroy it more by putting out misinformation. Our heritage is not written by Marvel comics.

@@mrpasser-by9386 Thank you. I've been studying & following the ways of my ancestors for 25+ years (yes, I'm THAT old! I pre-date marvel's "Thor" comics or the tv show "Vikings"-which I love for the blood, gore & storyline...NOT historically accurate though! LOL). I do not know everything about our tales, I am always learning things I did not know before, but what he covered in this video is general knowledge by almost any one; even those new to the old ways (except perhaps how to properly pronounce the names. Those can be tricky but rule of thumb, if there's an "r", it's rolled, and "j" is pronounced as "y". Example is Jormungandr.."Yourrr-mun-gaun-drrr" {rrr for the rolling} emphasis on the "Yourrr"). Hope this helps & possible piques some interest in learning about the tales of my ancestors!

It's been awhile since I last saw this video. I'm hearing errors. Odin has ravens not crows and, Jormungandr's a dude. The sister is Hel. 😕🤨

Very nice video well done! Norse mythology together with Greek are my favorite and the specific video goes in par with my recent upload about the most terrifying monsters from Greek mythology.Good work keep it up!!

I never realized just how much of Tolkien's Middle Earth was inspired by Norse Mythology alone.

When it comes to Gods, it's a Greek Mythology for me
But for the side character/mythical beast, it's a Norse Mythology for me for sure
