This a great song. Not only music (southern rock has this) but the words..........Movers and shakers! Really listen to this song! It will change your life.
Break my heart and change my mind . Cut me loose from ties that bind. Lead me as I follow You. Give me strength to follow through. Holy Spirit fill me up . Gently overflow my cup . Touch my eyes and let me see. Me in You and You in me Oh more, more, I want to be more like Jesus. More of Jesus less of me. By His power I will be. Like a flower in the spring. Brand new life in everything. That's my prayer for all of us today... that we would all be more like Jesus and less like me (us).
Thank you my Brother in Jesus Our Lord. What a Tremendous Blessing this song has been to me through my many years walking with our Wonderful Most High Merciful , Faithful Lord & Great King. Amen.☝️👑🙏
I remember when your cousin was pushing a mop bucket, as he humbly came back to The Cross ☝️🙏 Metro Bible Study at the Mount. Al Holley would open up with worship music and Rat Raely 🤔 would fly in from Alabama to preach. I wonder how many marriages were arranged during this time 😅😅 Praise God Almighty 🙏 I also got to help out with one of the central Florida music festivals in 85 and spent time with Mylon and BH at the hotel. He was the only one at the pool in a Speedo 😂😂 Most of the early members of Broken Heart lived in the same apartment as I did, when I was working in Hotlanta, back in the day. Just watching the river running by. Mylon's music always talks me back ☝️👍🙏 Viva Cristo Rey 🙏
Wonderful song from Mylon, my favorite from him. Yes Lord, "less of me" please, pour Your most Holy Spirit into our lives, so sweet when You flow within us, help us to show You to Your other children all around, In You is where we all belong, back to where You created us to be.
Without a doubt a very intimate song of deep hunger and thirst for Jesus. Sadly, I've yet to hear any song of this kind of anointing since we turned 21st century. I find nothing inspiring in today's Christian Music. Perhaps that is why i keep coming back 80s-90s to Mylon, Wayne Watson, Kelly Willard, Bob Bennett, Bryan Duncan, Sheila Walsh, Harvest, Sandi Patty, David Martin, Sweet Comfort Band, Eric Champion, Paul Smith, Imperials, Leon Patillo, Katy Troccoli, Billy Sprague, Kemper Crabb, Wendy & Mary, Terry Talbot, Whiteheart, Lisa Bevill, Smitty, Phil Keaggy, Scott Wesley Brown, Steve Green, etc.
+Alex Isenberg I feel the same way as you about today's music. It's all orchestrated micro-tweaked cookie cutter stuff. Everything Christian and secular sounds like everything else these days.
Keep praying to God that He will bless artists with songs that will be so anointed with His spirit it will touch those who listen and also for their safety as they travel around the world bringing God's message thru music. In Jesus name.... Amen..
I found Mylon in the EARLY 80s in the old Gym at the old Mt.Paran Church of God... (ATL) This is such an intimate personal prayer... I can never hear this too many times ‼️❣️‼️
Amen , that is what I would love to fave also. I keep watching the beginning and watching the guitarist on the first chords. If you have the complete song chords , please share them with me. Thank you & Almighty God Bless in Jesus name, amen. 🙏👑☝️
Tremendous talent and a man of God! We miss you Mylon! Come soon Lord Jesus!!
One of those songs from about 1983 that revolutionized by Christian journey. Thanks for this gem, Mylon!
