I like it. Great concept...I just wonder what it could do powered by some high discharge rechargeable lithium ion battery cells. Even say 2x 21700, with a flow control dial.
If the pump end reached the bottom, I don't see why it wouldn't get most of the fuel out. Tool or tank, the pump doesn't know the difference. But there are better solutions with longer reach and smaller tubes to get into corners.
Not sure I like the idea of submerging an electric pump into gas, if any seal leaks on the pump and allows gas into the motor then BOOOOOM!! Anyone experienced problems with the actual pump?
Pretty neat design threading the pump on the cap.
Nice one Doc!
That's pretty speedy!

Cool, been looking for a good fuel pump, one that's not drill driven or the double diaphragm pneumatic pumps I own? Thanks for the review, sir
Would it be good for emptying fuel tanks? Like power equipment at the end of it’s season

@@lastbesttool I’d like to see a video with the other solutions thanks
I have been looking at these for ages. I may now bite the bullet
Can you use this in a vehicle gas tank?
Might depend on the vehicle. Most new cars/trucks have gas line preventing measures to keep tools like this from remove fuel.
Just a tip. This pump looks OK but stay away from the stick type entry level they have listed on their Amazon page. They are junk.
sure beats a hand pump.
