Photoshop users have reported a variety of issues on Windows 10 concerning Photoshop physical memory usage and management. Namely, it seems that a lot of them, in a variety of instances, get a variation of the Not enough RAM Photoshop error. This occurs on startup and sometimes while accessing tools. Once it appears, it prevents any and all operations.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems. Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).
I've been struggling with this issue for weeks and this seems to have worked.
You'd think that setting the usable memory in the preferences settings in Photoshop would actually set the usable memory, but apparently not. It's infuriating knowing that you have plenty enough RAM but Photoshop keeps telling you otherwise. Thank you so much for this.
Nope not worked for me I've tried multiple numbers inx max and nope nothing.. Hasn't worked.

I have 110.0, 130.0, and 160.0 folders and put the Override entry into all of them and it still does not work. Crazy that PS was working great yesterday.
worked perfectly, probably a bug in my version of photoshop cc2014 despite premiere pro, while under it's minimum system requirement (3GB instead of 4GB), premiere pro cc2014 works fine, but photoshop wont til i discovered this.

I have installed my new Photoshop cc ,but it is not showing in registry editor . It is showing me my old adobe photoshop
I have 5 files in my photoshop folder, I see you only have one folder. Is that normal? I have 90, 100, 120,130, and 150.

To everyone who did not know what number to plug in:
1) in the search bar underneath search " RAM "
2) choose " RAM memory informations "
3) see the number of RAM
for example, I have a 4 gigabytes RAM, so I put in a calculater:
4x1000x0,6 =2600
2600 is the suitable number for me

Cant even export a backup. I get this: "Cannot export C: (blah blah.reg): Error writing the file. There may be a disk or file system error." Anyone know what's going on with that message?

What if my photoshop is 64x .. do i select the 64 version???

I changed one theme setting and after restarting my laptop black screen with cursor occured

@@MDTechVideos in theme settings, i think i clicked on high contrast option
Then my laptop said to restart to apply changes.When i restarted my laptop black screen with cursor was there with no desktop before login
