I would recommend the Streamlight TLR-9 for that gun. It comes with different adapter blocks that will make it fit that rail. I can't remember which one I'm using on mine, but it works, and it really looks cool on it and isn't way wider than the gun. Almost like it was meant for that gun.
I actually have a TLR9 I might have to try that out thanks for the suggestion!
I'm glad you were able to get the issues worked out with Girson. Love the looks of that firearm. I ended up getting the FN Hi Power. I wish mine had the pic rail and flat trigger like yours.
Ya I am very curious about the new FN ones, thanks for the support as always!
I’ll be sending my new OPS to MK3 customs. Love this gun so far
I will have to check them out thanks for the heads up!
Good followup review. Sad that the company doesn't cover return shipping for warranty issues. BTW, I found that the solution for the sloppy safety is to install a safety detent plunger spring from Cylinder & Slide. I ordered their spring and detent but found that the C&S detent is large in diameter to fit in the Girsan safety lever so reinstalled the Girsan detent with the C&S spring and no more sloppy safety lever.
Nice. Glad you got things fixed up and yes the wood grips do look better. Now I'm looking for wood grips for my Match gun.
Thanks for watching John as always!
I guess it’s a matter of taste, but I’ve always hated those old hi power grips, I like the ones that come with it they look good, and they have a good grip in the hand, at least for me personally.
Go to see you get the Girsan sorted out. My experience with Girsan while I owned the Regard left much to be desired. Several unanswered e-mails left a poor impression. Maybe having a you tube channel helped? Hope to see you soon. Dennis.
Great narration. Thanks
USA ! USA ! USA ! ... never had customer service problems with Smith Wesson Ruger Springfield even Taurus USA ... Of course they had few problems and always minor ones.. Leupold is outstanding.. Bought an old 1903 with a serial numbered glass on it...They refurbished and sent it back for free.. Turkey is a little (very) suspect these days ...
I'm not a RUclipsr, so I can tell you the EAA is not what it should be as far as customer service. Local gun shop told me that gun manufacturers are typically very good as far as customer service. If that is the case, EAA really sucks. I was going to send the MC P35 to them, but I did not want to pay all the freight either.
Cool video 👍😎
Thanks man!
Someone commented elsewhere that EAA takes one of the mags out when imported to the U.S. Note there are two cutouts.
EAA customer service has not been given rave reviews.
I still have not fired my Match model.
No matter, not one review has states this as a bad shooting gun.
As far as how it shoots it definitely shoots great. But ya the other issues aren’t great
I had my fiber optic insert come off around the 240 round mark but after emailing EAA and providing my serial number and a copy of my receipt they mailed me a new piece of fiber optic rod. I am surprised that this is an ongoing issue with these as I first heard of this happening a while ago.
Ya it would appear that the fiber optics they are using are not the best
The one I bought a couple months ago looks like they have melted both ends of the fiber optic sight so it doesn’t come out, the rear sight also seems staked in fairly well, I haven’t had the problem with the roll pin coming out either, maybe they’re learning?
Any holster options you found?? Im just purchasing mine!! Solid video!
My front sight fell out of the gun its cut to deep im going to pay and send it in and never buy a Girsan again.
Damn that sucks, sorry that happened to you!
Just because the front sight fell out?? Heat it up with a lighter, 🔥, problem solved.
Horrible customer service when I called about my front fiber optic. They act like they had no idea that it was happening and you're right they want to charge you to send it back to Them. Instead I sent it to gunsmith which turned into a horrible experience after several weeks. I still haven't got my guns back. Said he ordered new site from dawson precision and it ended up being the same one we'll see what happens
Ya overall the experience could of been a lot better
I like that they were willing to send parts. But i agree, they need to pay for shipping for warranty
Ya definitely could improve in the warranty department
I don't believe they will do this for the average customer.
@@leelazarus5529 unfortunately I agree
@@leelazarus5529
Yep
What size Allen wrench did you use to tighten the rear sights?
What is the size of the fiber optic rods?
Mine finally fell out after 800 or so rounds. Looking for replacement.
Another solid review! Thanks for the share!!
No problem thanks for watching!
I took mine to the range, the windage screw on the rear sight started walking out. They also want me to pay all of the shipping to fix. That is awful.
So do you really recommend a Girsan? What do you think of the Girsan p35 PI ops.? I like it because of the size. but I agree that they should add 1 or 2 additional magazines. excellent video. I hope they give the same service to everyone...
Right out of the box my rear sight windage adjustment screw was walking out. Of course they want me to either remove the rear sight or send the gun back in. I will not be buying any more of their firearms due to this.
Ya these small weird Q/C problems are a little frustrating.
Late to the party, but since I'm looking to buy the new lightweight PI style that also has the fiber-optic is there a simple block front sight out there with the correct height that will fit that bevel? It would seem smart to just replace that fiber optic upon purchase of the gun.
Hopefully their customer service improves and they will try to make things right with the regular people like us without spending a fortune on shipping for their screw ups with lack of quality control, if they use common sense they will do this, especially with the fiber optic sight, and roll pin, come on how much does it cost to ship a replacement?,practically nothing, not to mention the Goodwill it would create.
It amazes me about the stupidity of customer service, how many future customers and repeat buyers are they losing?, my guess is quite a bit.
GIRSAN if you’re following the comments on here, take note of that !!!
Where did you get the grips from?
Should be GOOD to see you.
Was great to catch up today Dennis, thanks as always for the support!
I like the hi power because of metal gear solid V
No they won’t do it if you’re not a RUclipsr. I’ll never buy another one of their crappy products. Basically Turkish Taurus.
Ya it’s very unfortunate to see
