My 2024 Porsche Cayenne has water spots on the top of the tail lights - can your Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover be used to remove these deposits? Thanks!
I got the waterspot remover, however if you're like me, and the waterspots have been on for a very long time, you'll need to use a compound. I used V32. Thanks guys for sharing! Take care! Eddie
This stuff is amazing on glass. My daughter's Accord was trashed on the passengers side from 3 years at her JMU apartment, sprinklers. I applied it and it looked great. Applied again and used a used a new razor blade to clean up the residual areas. The gel turned the spots into a scrapeable material. I was floored with how good it came out on glass.
@ooohlaa13 No problem. I just did the windows on my truck last week and same process. Just make sure you use fresh and new blades and let the gel really, really soak in. Works fantastic on glass.
For the love of your viewers.... if you are doing close up side by side comparisons. - set up a camera on a tripod where you can see both and keep your fingers out of the frame. Rubbing your hands over it constantly is just giving your handheld autofocus camera no chance to get a decent fix on the surface. Just keep out of a stable shot for 5 seconds so we can actually see the difference!!!
I used it on badly spotted shower doors about 3 days ago. Just to say I do like this product for light spotting. Use it often. Tried this on the shower doors with several different applicators and it barely did anything. Switched to suds factory glass and after repeated tries(maybe 5) it started to remove slowly. For light spotting I endorse this. For heavy spotting I honestly don't think either one did very well.
The waterspot remover is amazing. I used it to remove some spots caused by AllClean being left on the car for too long. Two different detailers werent able to fix it but a quick swipe with Waterspot Remover did the trick!
such tasteful music, love it ... what to do if I sprayed sealant last year inadvertently not noticing the water spots on the body and glass? I look forward to purchasing this product this week! Thanx
This stuff has been great so far! I’ve been able to remove most of the hard water spots my truck has built up over the past 8 months being parked outside.I did run into a bit of an issue using it on my side mirrors though. Seems the mirrors picked up a heavy ‘haze’ around the edges on the passenger side and a similar haze that covers most of the driver’s side mirror. Haven’t been able to remove it with buffing, using rinseless carwash, water&vinegar, or water and dish soap. Any suggestions on how to correct this issue?
I would like if you guys can make a tutorial or a video about the hand polishing pads because the one that you have from for 4 years ago it’s not that good and if you guys can make another one, that would be greatly appreciated. I would also like if you guys can use c4 polishing and cutting. also, I would like to say that your videos are so good and they help me to be a better detailer and thank you for all of them.
This gel works so good, I used it last night on practically half of my car. Can't wait to finish the rest of the spots. Question though - after using an applicator pad with this gel are we to toss out the pad once done or can it be tossed in the wash like the towels?
I wash my Pickup with Sticky Snowball and Hydro Suds. Then I pass Hydro Charge+ and Hydro Slick. For the wheels I use Hydro Spin and for the Glass I use Hydro View. And once in the while I do have some water stains that i typically remove with a couple sprays of Hydro Charge+. Should I instead use SPEED WIPE QUICK DETAILER and or HEAVY DUTY WATER SPOT REMOVER ? And will it remove the Ceramic properties of the Hydro Line ?
Is it alright to leave it "bare" after using these two products, or is it necessary to apply some sort of coating, such as jet seal, to prevent damage? I intend to have a professional ceramic coating applied in a few months. However, since my car is new, can I simply leave it with just the two products to remove the unsightly rain spots?
Henry what is a good cleaner wax you guys sell I have carbon force on my truck but I think it's getting gummed up I only use hydro speed on it ever 3 good wash
Sadly I picked up a new Tesla last weekend and the water spots are horrific. The detailer there is worthless so I bought a bottle of this in hopes it would help. This product didnt touch them at all. Im feeling like my car is due for some major paint correction.
I have some water spots from driving down a dirt road in S. Florida so it is lime/white dirt. Hoping this will work for that but also, what can I use on my running boards since they are mat black, probably powder coat and plastic pads?
@@ChemicalGuyslisten I get it. It’s a big area you never filmed before. Henry also has a tendency to speed up when talking. I’ve watched a bunch of the product spotlights and seen it. I’m sure at the end of the opening he was exhausted form shouting and talking fast. It gets the best of us all when making content you only have a short time with and you want to get to the next project. The lav mic and having an extra person on set like a director of sorts can help to mitigate some minor headaches in production. Still love the excitement you all put in. I would help if I could sadly I’m on the east coast. Otherwise I’d come and help out.
Hi mate would like to know which wipe should I apply the speed wipe or as I’ve seen in other videos synthetic quick detail? Which one works better with the gel ?
So I just bought this kit to use on my black car and it didn’t remove any of the water spots. What’s the next step? I tried all over the hood of the car and it looks like I never did anything. Kinda frustrating. Thanks
Hi! Love your guys products but just curious! What is the best thing to neutralize the hard water spot remover gel if I don’t have any speed wipe or your quick detailing spray? It will be my first time using the gel and just want to make sure I do everything right!
The products look really good but in my opinion you needed to show water spots on the paint work and should have used a different car and colour , very hard for us to see water spotting on that car you used in the video.

Is there a link for v32?

Haven’t seen you guys use this on glass shower doors! That would be cool to see!!
Great suggestion!

Any tips to get rid of or lessening scratches in the windshield?

Question, Do you have to clay bar the door panel before doing the water spot remover?
Hey! Yes, it is best to remove abrasive particles before scrubbing the surface.
Is standard tap water in spray bottle good enough to neutralize the gel?
Absolutely!
Question.... Chemical Guys, is there an expiration date on the Chemical Guys Waterspot Remover, I used it once and the bottle is 3 years old... 🤔
Will it be easier to use the water stain remover with a polisher?
Isn't that the purpose of a true ceramic coating? To prevent water spots, tree sap, bird droppings, and dirt from sticking/building up on the surface?
Can I use a buffer polisher to this item or is it only apply by hand?

Hey! Applicators and towels can be cleaned with Microfiber Wash and reused.

Great suggestion!
did you say if we have a hybrid ceramic wax layer that we need to apply after the water spot remover?
Hi, nice video! Quick one, instead of jet seal, can i use the hydroslick wax?
Yes, absolutely!!
Bro stop using these products they dont do none !!!!! 😂
I have a new 2023 silverado. I need to wash it for the first time. There is soo much stuff out there.
Where should I start with your products?

I need to do the clay? In my car first or I need to wash it, I can also use jet seal out side And at what temperature can I use it outside
Will Chemical Guys CWS20916 Swift Wipe Sprayable Waterless Car Wash neutralize the gel?
Your video are very good , but we need to know which products are good or not good for a true ceramic surface. Thanks
Thanks so much for your feedback
Is this safe to use on a ceramic coating or will it compromise the ceramic coating?
If you have a true ceramic coating it will not affect the coating.
@@ChemicalGuys thanks yes. It’s the Cerakote version 2 that I have
Henry what is a good cleaner wax you guys sell I have carbon force on my truck but I think it's getting gummed up I only use hydro speed on it ever 3 good wash
this product stains my sunroof glass, now i have the shape of the applicator etched into the glass. how do you remove it??
Can this same process be used on shower glass? I would assume so.
Absolutely!
BUT DOES THIS WORK ON VINYL WRAP????
I have both

I have bad water spot on my chrome rims that are 24x14 Akron off Lincoln
Hey! Try using Light Metal Polish to scrub away stubborn stains.
www.chemicalguys.com/light-metal-polish/SPI_404_16.html
Would the heavy duty water spot remover work/be safe on the chrome trim as well?
Absolutely!
What if my shower door has a coating on it, and it still has water spots on it?
We gotta get you guys some Lav mics.
Thanks so much for your feedback

What do you use for rubber black trim work that has water spots on it?
Hey! Try scrubbing textured plastic and rubber trim with Nonsense All Purpose Cleaner.
www.chemicalguys.com/nonsense-cleaner/SPI_993_16.html
What do you do for you applied hydro slick over water spots?
Can you use Synthetic Quick Detailer instead of the Speed Wipe?
Absolutely!!
Can you use this on a boat? When I pull my boat out of the water it ends up getting a lot of water spots
Absolutely, Heavy Duty Water Spot Remover is safe for marine crafts!
I have matte plastic trim on my door, it’s not recommended to use the gel on it? It’s got water spots on
Hey! Try using Trim Clean to remove grime and stains from textured plastic and rubber trim.

I’d like to see this used on glass shower doors
Hi mate would like to know which wipe should I apply the speed wipe or as I’ve seen in other videos synthetic quick detail? Which one works better with the gel ?
