@TeamKingiesFishingCrew I knew I recognised that smile from somewhere, tabarakallah. I was standing next to you and dropped that king 😆 my gear held up on 20lb and that's all I was happy about, the bream were pretty good eating though and made up for it haha.
Respect to those wearing a PFD. Auto inflating Crewsaver or similar cost less than a decent rod or reel these days and guarantee you get home to your family. Well done fellas, cheers for sharing.
@@jb-es5zj unless a shark eats ya, you'll float if ya hit the water mate, not about being invinsible but more about if the worst happens atleast your corpse has a very high rate of being retrieved. All the best!
Next time you wanna target Snapper there, you should try distance casting for them with 3-5oz sinkers bro. They’re usually on the sand just behind the bommies on the left and right (about +60m out from the ledge). AB gets them there all the time with his 11-14ft rods. Last time I was there one of the boys caught a huge +50cm Snapper on the left bommy with a bonito strip bait at first light haha! Another great video bro! 🤙🏽 Ooossst Ooossst
8 ft would be the shortest. But this depends on rock fishing spot. Ledges that have instant drop, you can use shorter rods, but ledges that has a gradual drop will require a longer rod.
@@TeamKingiesFishingCrew oh cool I've heard something like that but the way you worded it makes more sense. I fish a 9ft rod at the moment but was thinking I want something with lighter cast weight for big snapper on lures and alot of rods that cast lighter are shorter, thanks for the reply this helped alot.
The guys that fish at avoca believe that getting swept is part of the parcel when rock fishing. They say you are not a true fisherman if you are scared of 3m swells!!!
That's a stupid logic. You always want to fish in safe conditions. We have fished in dangerous conditions, but it's mainly because we made a bad judgement.
Cool vid..looks like a dangerous place however!
It can get dangerous at this spot
Nice work guys , I’m new to your channel keep up the awesome fishing 🎣 👍🐟🎣

Hi, great video ! Do you think circle hooks would snag less than j-hooks ??
It seems to snag the same amount of times for both. The only difference we know is how and where the hook sets if you use circle hooks.
Loving the drone footage mate, awesome video!
It was a great day for it
Thanks for watching 👍🏼
@@TeamKingiesFishingCrew Thank you very mutch... have a nice day.... see you….
as always enjoyed your video
let that wave that washed by you be a reminder to never take your attention of the ocean
💯
Whats the shortest rod you would use for spots like this I wanna try some light tackle and live south of sydney with similar ledges.
