  • Make an EVA chest plate with me! This is the first part of the making of this chest plate for my Philipa Georgiou emperor costume. I have an insane amount of footage for this project and I'm not even done with it!
This is my second EVA foam chest plate ever, so let me know what you think!
There's so many more pieces to this costume that I'm really looking forward to putting together.
Thank you so much for watching!

Ah man, I'd love to have one of those fancy vacuum presses for this kind of project!

Something like that would be killer! But sadly I don't have that and so I'm left with scissors and a stubborn attitude lol

this looks amazing!!! I love watching other cosplayers work as i work on my own stuff, im currently working through jinx's top for her arcane outfit! Also ,small note, I know you probabaly already know this but please wear gloves when working with contact cement, ik you probably already use a respirator and such but it can absorb through your skin and stuff, contact cement is scary as hell

    Maybe colored tissue paper.

That's a possibility! But I'd be worried about the stability. Probably good for a first draft against the dress form to then transfer to a more structured fabric
