I like your build but you forgot to show how you keep the side that opens closed by using a nail or something. It looks very simple to build. Screws are better in case you have to replace a piece that gets damaged.

Thank you. You bring up a great point. The nail is magically there towards the end with no explanation at all. Very important part of the build.
