You are not just calling out the Man Muddyfeet but you are calling out The Mustache......many have tried, All have failed 🤠👍

That's an airbrake valve, usually used on the front brakes, when you apply the brakes (air cuff) they seal, when you release the air pressure the seals and the air dumps quicker from the valve, instead of all the line leading up to it, it gives you a quicker release of air. (HD mechanic)

Really fun video today! I enjoy watching the boompump content as my school offers about 20 weeks of work experience so in about half a year ill be riding with a M56 getting to really learn concrete pumping! Watching your videos just makes me more and more exited for whats to come! Thanks for all of your hard work!

Appreciate the kind words sir. I sincerely do hope that the channel does attract some interest to the industry from some of todays youth. With most every pumping company (in our at at least) having exhausted most all options to attract young/any workers, we collectively have to figure out something.

Our local schwing dealer has developed there own air cuff. It’s 2 piece hinge system that allows you to remove it before putting the tip hose on the ground as to keep it less built up with concrete and mud. It also helps if you have a double ended hose sometimes it can be hard to feed the flange through.

    • @canadianconcretepumper1979
      @canadianconcretepumper1979  Год назад

That would be super handy. It can be a real wrestling match trying to slide the air-cuff over a 5” flange.

Check into Spatter Cote 100 for spraying your hopper down. It doesn't leave a residue like form oil and will stay wet until it is sprayed off with water. I'm going to try the pixie dust very soon, really need to try it in the hopper. Beautiful view, that's what I like about the private lake area I go to every now and then, but its usually an abnormal setup that's sometimes tricky. Pump On Scott! We're trailering for the 1st time Monday, not sure I can video since it's in a factory but I'll definitely try.

Yeah. Find something to expand the weight when you setting up on a side walk or near a curbside. You put 2 by 2 it will break the ground or even worst sink that outrigger. I’ve seen it happen on a Betostar 40 meter. 😅

Yeah, city sidewalk panels can be some of the most deceiving ground conditions. Often undermined and no rebar either. Can be a bit of a booby trap (especially for the bigger pumps).
At our main yard we have 240V electric pressure washer. Dollar for dollar it’s one of the best purchases we’ve ever made. As you had mentioned, it’s great for blasting the hopper clean at days end.
I feel for you guys working in that kinda heat. We pretty much shutdown at anything much over 95.

I miss the water lever as well. I got the 2023 ergo 3 and now the water pump switch is a button in the menu screen. It's terrible im constantly taking my washout gloves off so i don't dirty up my remote 😒 and the water switch at the back panel only works when i lock out the remote on the computer box 😵‍💫 im real not impressed with this digital stuff. Im constantly in the menu of my controller doing like five different sequences to start the pump😠 when the old reliable pumps were flick the on switch and hit the bump switch and everything was on and good to go😤

    • @canadianconcretepumper1979

Whenever I take out one of our older rigs it reminds me how ridiculous/over the top things have gotten with some of the new ones. The Ergo 1.5 on this pump I do quite like (aside from the lack of rabbit/turtle boom speed toggle switch and levers for water/agitator).
We have an Ergo 2.0 on our 2019 39Z and it honestly makes me hate the world. Putzmiester made good by taking operator feedback and applying it to the new and improved Ergo 3.
We do not yet have any Ergo 3.0 units in our fleet, but I do look forward to someday getting my hands on one thus cleansing my soul of the Ergo 2 experience.

@@canadianconcretepumper1979 The new 36z that was given to me to operate has the old style boom from the early 2000s, the boom hoop trying to open and close the older models was bad and it's the same with this new one. The outriggers have me working more, I'm only 5'7" and the top deck is some where around 9', it's brutal trying to sling my 25' 3" hoses back on the rack. I do like that the greaser button is in the remote menus and not in the computer box menu, even then the greaser switch was on the back panel which was convenient. This new ergo 3 has the push button for rabbit and turtle yet no indicator except for in the menu. So once again i find my self scrolling through a menu instead of focusing on the job. Even one day the remote wouldn't tell me my boom speed. I had to restart the remote and then go back to the hopper to restart that back panel. This remote will start beeping at me as im doing a wash out, i looked at the back menu to see what the warning messages are and i find none.
Man, if pump concrete wasn't stressful enough! I now have a computer system to stress me out even further with mostly annoying rubbish 😑

    This is a rhyme
Mostly about working all of the time
    Its easy to whine
    But dont forget
    All the dime
    You will get
    From working over time
You'll afford to place a bet
    And even vodka with lime
    Day and night
    Bring your flashlight
    The pump dumps the slump
Up and away over the rebar it will stay
    Its a mean machine
That you will have to keep clean
    Its a dangerous job
    You cant be a slob
    When Saturday come
And your wife roam at home
If you want to remain alive
To the garage you will arrive
    There you will stay
    Until monday says hey
