Don't try to use a standard termination knot on your high-tensile fence wire! You HAVE to use a high-tensile termination knot. How do you tie one? Glad you asked!
You mentioned a couple of times early in the video that the termination knot is for high tensile wire. I don't use HT but still use the same termination knot. Is that still ok or is there a better knot for mild steel wire?
Hi found your channel I have 100 diff subs but glad to find you otherwise good!!! I had a question and would appreciate if you could get back it’s about fence posts I was wondering if you could help me locate the ones that you can slide wood down the inside of the posts from both sides horizontally so that’s all and was looking for the ones that aren’t big just snug enough to slide an inch thick the length doesn’t matter obviously but yeah that pattern where both sides of the pole has a insert where the end is covered but like I said you can slide the wood down the sides of the poles from either side thanks
Im using 2mm high tensile wire for my espalier tiers and the run is 13m long. Im using a ratchet cog strainer at one end to enable tightening. The wire runs through 6 equally spaced L Brackets for support between my fruit trees. What is the best way to terminate this type of wire at the start where I have used a galvanised L bracket with a hole in it, not a post; and then around the shaft of the ratchet. I find it very hard to twist. And I wish I had one of those horizontal spinning feed mechs......I made a hell of a mess when I tried to feed out the first 13m of wire! It only took me an hour to untangle.
Oh Right! Go ahead and trash Dans knots, while your way over in Florida! Go to Wyoming and talk your Smack! Hahahahahahaha You guys are the best!!
Nice video

Nice vid. Iv never did that type of fence before. To bad u can't do this with 7 gage tension wire.

(Sarcasm font) you forgot to double wrap (end Sarcasm)
Nice knot. After a while the knots get much easier and a plain wrap is wrong.
No Santa for you this year, knotty boy!
It won't be the first time. 😆
Termination knots at your end assembles ( strainers and diagonal stays )

Prolly doing it wrong... but actually ... prolly not.
