When Regina starts climbing those musical scales at 3:58, it's just goosebumps all over my body! 😍 Singers and musicianship of this calibre are so few and far between these days. The 1970s to the 1990s were really a golden age of modern music.
We talk about those high notes, but near the beginning, she hits a low tenor right before the first verse starts. It makes the high notes more incredible.
Side note: she got her start singing along with The Manhattans, alongside Gerald Alston. 😉
