Yo, FTC! These products were all purchased by me, playaaaa. Fosho. I'm so gangsta I don't need companies to pay me for videos. Which I didn't in this video, capishe? Is that even how you spell that? Have an unforgettable day. And remember, this is always my honest opinion. Over and out.
Kristee try moving your coffee maker to the top of the little cart. It would look cute with the wood and you can have a little coffee nook with cute mugs to display or nail up hooks to hang them to the wall. That gives you a little more counter space too
Grether Betancourt great idea!
Grether Betancourt omg yeah that would be cute ☕️💕
“I don’t think it looks too cramped, and if you do, too bad, I’m the one living here.”
YES! Lol I love your little place and think you’ve done an amazing job! The cart is really cute and was a really good idea.
Just a quick tip for your kitchen cart, you can get S hooks and also hang your pots/pans from the perimeter of the cart.
oooo good idea!
Haley Dunn great idea! Or even getting something similar to the spice rack for it to sit in on the wall.
You could also put your coffee maker on the cart to make it a cute coffee bar, you’d have a little more counter space
I think the rug looks too big for the room which will makes your space look smaller. I would really recommend getting smaller rug, I think it would make a huge difference! Maybe even a cute smaller circle rug. Also - maybe get an extension cord for your wifi router power strip so that you only have to have one cable going around the room
I love the kitchen cart btw, it fits in perfect!!
you should velcro the wifi stuff to the wall so its out of the way
I started watching a lot of NYC apartment videos after watching Michelle Reed's and one day your move-in vlog came up as a suggestion and I have been watching all your vlogs since. I love how down to earth you are and your honesty. Your videos are just very refreshing because you seem very genuine! Have a great week!!
Love how you’ve decorated YOUR place so rude that people who don’t even live there want to criticise and tell you what you should or shouldn’t do in your own place. Hun just keep on doing you, you’re friggin awesome! 😉
You could actually move your silverware and some of the nicer appliances to the cart and put all of your mismatched powders in the cabinets to make the cart look sleek and clean. That keeps the chaos contained in the cabinets and no one would ever know! Also, if you decided to get a full nice plate set with coffee mugs, you could even put the nice set stacked on the cart and hang the coffee mugs on the pot rack part. I think the rack was a great idea!
You could get a tiny shelf to put above your stove for the Wi-Fi.
that would look s much better
Why don't you scratch one country you've been to at the beginning or end of your vlog, totally gives me the vlogmas vibes with the chocolate/sock advent calendar lol
Love that idea
I am truly amazed at how well you have organized this space!!! So much fun to follow :)
Go to amazon and look up invisible extension cord! I found one and you can pick what color you want! And it’s 8ft I believe. I think it may work in your kitchen!
Rude! It's not cluttered to me. I think the room looks great. Small rooms are awesome. I live in a studio too
I think you should make the cart a coffee cart, either get another spice rack and put the WiFi in there, or just put the WiFi’ in the window seal. Get two more door hooks (for the back of the closet door and bathroom door) because trust me, once winter comes you’ll notice you need hooks for rain coats, jackets, scarves, umbrellas and bags. The dresser at the end of your bed, I would check to see if it could support weight (as a sitting table) if not. I’d maybe move it next to your bed ( where your bedside table is) and use it as storage for perfume, jewelry, books and what not. Then you get get a bench for the end of your bed and put storage boxes under it. (You don’t really need a bedside table anyway) but yea, it’s coming along SOOO nicely 😍
Haven’t even finished this one but just had to say how much I enjoy your videos. Something about your realness and relatability is soooo enjoyable to watch. Proud of you! Keep going girl. -A friend who watches all the way in Seattle. 😘
honestly.....
IT LOOKS GREAT! good vibes 💕
Will your WiFi router not go on the window ledge?
She needs to see this!!!
I like how your kitchen turned out after you put the cart! it definitely will carry a lot of things.
Kristeeeee I gotta tell ya, I go through RUclips phases where i don't watch for a bit then a binge for weeks, but I always go back to your channel. You're so relatable its unreal. I'm going through a hell of a time right now after breaking up with my boyfriend of a year and a half after realizing there just wasn't a future there for us, and I have to admit that watching your videos has helped me when i get down, and here's why.... You're so independent and inspiring and insightful and confident and like I stated before, relatable. As I am trying to kind of "rediscover my independence" if you will, watching your videos helps to motivate me! So yeah I'm not one to really comment like ever lol, but I just had to let you know! Thanks for being you, and helping me without even knowing it.
“Juxtaposition between the light wood and the Polaroids” lmao
You can get an extension cord for a few bucks at target, Walmart, or five below for the kitchen power strip.
YES the best part of my morning is here🤩🤩
Hey, I don't think your printer should be next to the oven because of the heat, I don't think it's safe... I would like to see your coffee maker on the cart, you would have more counter space and for storage in the cabinets you cloud put some wire shelf to have more space.
Ghost watcher since the beauty guru phase with Lindsey, Meghan, Emily, ayydubs... Golden times ❤️
Just my opinion, I would totally move the coat rack that you just bought over the closet door instead. 🙂
Maybe you can put the modem & router on the kitchen hood? It would probably be less visible and safer idk. Loving these vlogs!
Put the over the door hanger on the inside of your closet on the door. Keeps the clutter away from the outside while keeping your stuff organized
I'm loving this whole series! Its really apparent how excited you are to be in NYC and that makes me so excited for you!
Loving these apartment videos! Your studio is coming together really nicely, I don't understand people saying it looks cluttered--I think you've managed to organize things well for a small space! As long as you're happy with it that's all that matters. I've been a ghost watcher for a very long time, but loving this content so wanted to let you know :)
Can you store your pans in the oven or under the oven in the drawer?
Hi! Loving the NYC vlogs Kristee! Also as a random suggestion could you move the wifi box behind your mirror and plug the cords in behind your nightstand? Then you could have even more room in your kitchen. Btw the cart looks great too! And it honestly doesn't look that crowded in the kitchen, I think the plant adds a nice touch to the space too to help make it even more open since it's a hanging plant, and next to the window. It pulls everything together in the kitchen nicely 💕
You can always get creative and make a box to put your Wifi stuff in. Try looking up “wire boxes” on amazon. That’s what I keep mine in. They have them in white. If that doesn’t fit, you can just come up with something else. Go on Pinterest and type in “hide WiFi”. Lots of good ideas on there.
Also, people are probably saying your place looks like a dorm room because you’re pinning posters on the wall and have all ikea furniture lol nothing wrong with that, but thats just my guess as to why. You can always try thrifting for some apartment decor/furniture if you don’t want to spend a lot of money. That’s what I do! 😊
Looking good. Put the spice rack on the windowsill - if it fits. Then you won't have to reach over the stove and open flames.
Get suction cups and hang the spice rack on the window.
When the vlog ended I literally said “aw it’s over already” love love watching your videos!
Fun fact. I was watching this vlog while I waited for my face mask timer to go off. Right when She signed off and the end credits rolled my alarm went off. PERFECT TIMING! Also, Eff what the haters are saying about clutter! You live your best life girl!!! ❤️
I love how long this series is! Keep the updates coming 🎊
I wonder if there is a floating
Shelf you could get for the WiFi router and stuff
What if you got cushions for the top of the dresser like you said to use for seating but also got like a folding table to use for eating if you have guest over. You could fold it up and put it behind the dresser or bed when not in use.
lol when you're moving and getting packages every day of stuff you need it doesn't matter if you have 2000 sq ft, it looks cluttered for a bit! But once you have everything settled and set your space has potential! There are so many nice tiny apartment tours out there, it's crazy people can't envision what it can look like. And like you said, it's your place and your paying for it so whatev anyway!
Maybe you can install one of those ikea free hanging shelves on the bottom of your kitchen window (like on top of the windowsill itself) so make it extend some more since there's some space between the window and the stove. Then you'd have an extra kind of shelf there that you can put the router on?
Congrats on 300k!!
Hi Kristee! Have you considered taking away a couple of pillows from your bed? I think it would open up the space a bit ☺️
Have you met any of your neighbors?
Ahhh I honestly can’t believe people are saying it looks like a cluttered dorm room!! So not cool. It looks cosy and homey to me!! You’ve done really well getting it like it is now in the short amount of time that you’ve been there. I’m glad you’re not letting those comments get to you. Keep doing what you’re doing and I’ll keep looking forward to watching your awesome vlogs in NYC!! 😁👍😁
Omg I love you for wearing that doodlebob shirt!!! He's my spirit animal
It's coming together so nicely! Small spaces are so hard to work with and you are doing great!
Your place is actually coming together really nice!! F the haters lol
never been into moving vlogs but I'm so invested in these lol.
You're doing such an amazing job putting together your little studio! You've found a lot of good ways to organize the space while making it look comfy. Well done!
I think the coat hanger would be really pretty on the closet so you can still see that gorgeous mirror when it’s full! I’ve loved watching you figure out your space and make it home!
Get an extension cord for your internet modem and whatnot. You can plug the surge protector into that and get more length with the cords. Could help a bit if you wanted!
Kristee, your place looks awesome!! For the amount of space you have, you really did a great job...and I love the color scheme of pink, white, and black. Super chic.
watching this room progressively fill up is stressful yet entertaining lolol 😂😂😂😂
Anyone who says this looks cluttered has clearly never lived in a small space lol... I love how you've managed to make the most out of your space!
I love your apartment, its perfect for you in NY. Maybe get some wooden crates for the kitchen cart, I think it would be cute.
The place looks great ! I think you're doing an amazing job with the space
You can get S hooks to hang your pots on the side of the new island!
Also the space is really coming together nicely girl!
Aw fun my brother got my mom and I the same (you call it a cart) we call it a bakers rack, it’s very cute in my opinion and it really gives out small kitchen a lot of storage like out cases of water and conventional oven
lmao when you hit the weekly calendar at the end
You could get a small type bin to put the modem internet thing in so you don’t see and just keep it sitting on top f the stove here it is :) at least that way you could hide it a little if it does bother you and it will also protect it from getting cooking stuff like oil splatter in it!
You can get an extension cord for your WiFi set up so it’ll reach the cart if you want
You should just order longer cords for the router, and order a extension cord that is long also
congrats on 300k! also if you need a place to store your pots and pans and you don’t have a ton, you can always put them in your oven?
I think for your supplements and proteins, maybe use wicker baskets so the kitchen wouldn't be so white and then store them in the 2nd level rack. Maybe move the spice rack and router to where the supplements are now. I was afraid that the router might fall while your cooking or it might get damaged due to the heat or something. LOL! For your small appliances, you can line them up in the wooden or top rack and treat them like decor. This way your kitchen counter will be free from things and you have a workspace.
Love your apt- I can’t believe people are criticizing - whattttt! I love the over the door hanger - you should get one for every door if it fits - even if you put them on the insides like the bathroom and closet!
I think you are doing awesome with such a little space! It is coming together so beautifully! I cannot believe anyone says anything negative - ignore them ... as long as you love it that’s all that matters ❤️
It’s looking great, you’re doing a good job with the space you have. Do you girl. Keep on showing us the updates cause I literally live for them. I gasp every time I see your vids on my subscription list lol.
I was just watching your vlogmas from last year (😅😂), hopping back to the current time for a sec hahaha
If reaching over the stove is a worry, is it possible to put command strips/hooks in the cabinet next to the stove and hang them on the door?
Maybe try Command shelves to place your router/ modem. You can find it on amazon.
I moved into the city in June and I love watching your vlogs and relating to your life lol you’re doing a fab job decorating 🤩
I just moved here too!
Hey loving how the apartment is looking. And it does not look cluttered it looks homey.
try moving the wifi box to the window seal. It looks like it is slim enough to fit on there and it would be hidden by the stove
Would the wi-fi fit between the stove and window where you can really see it? That might work
I love the room decor and think you are using your space sufficiently
you could put the coffee maker on the cart and make a cute little coffee station! will also free up counter space :)
"It's 20 pieces which is a lot because I'm one person" I live by myself and have WAYYY more than that because I'm lazy and hate doing dishes. Aaaand I always run out of forks and spoons. No shame. Haha.
Kristee, I think you should get some velcro and put the modem on the corner of the window sill so it does not look awkard on top of your stove.
The little tiny spice rack that you just bought would be perfect over the stove. You won’t get hurt reaching for it. 😁
congrats on 300k!!!🎉 I’m loving your moving to nyc series
SUCH A FUN DAY! still dreaming about that sandwich 🤤 LOVE YOU 🥰❤️
Hey about your router ,try to find a small shelve to put either on top of the window or on top of the ventilation thing you have for your stove ...and I don’t think your apartment looks clutter..I love that is beginning to look cozy ....and I was thinking 💭 a curtain to divide your kitchen from your actual living space so in the night you can close off your sleeping area so no one can see you from your kitchen window..maybe I’m being weird but I feel it weird having a window with no privacy shade ,and the fact it’s right next to the stove is best to leave it like that too,am I making sense lol .....I love watching everything coming together for you ....it’s so exciting 🤗
When you get your totes you can put all that stuff over your sink in the kitchen in them on the cart... and use the top of the cart as a cutting and cooking space
Nice place. Enjoying the process. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your vlogs - I was looking for chairs but stores that sell the model I wanted had crazy shipping feas, but -- I haven't thought of Amazon that has free shipping before waching your vlogs :')
Vision coming together!!!
Small living space tip, put your pots and pans in the oven or in the draw under the oven
I love how your little place is coming along.I packing to move into a great place for.
20 seconds in and I have to say this... YOUR SHIRT OMG IM OBSESSED
loooove your current vids!!!!
I love these New York vlogs so much!
Started following Emma when you first mentioned her in a video and I love her content!!!
Hi!
Maybe you can put the wifi box inside a little box or something. Ikea probably has storage for it. I use baskets in my living room to hide them and looks cute. Also, maybe move the rack to go under the map. Just an idea!
I actually really love all the pieces you’ve gotten so far! And I hate that so many people are tagging on you or telling you you “should” do this or do that, but I’m curious why you didn’t leave the bed facing the other way? When you were talking about he rug I thought maybe it’d fit better with it the other way. Overall, I love your color scheme and think you’re doing amazing! I think considering the size it doesn’t look crowded at all, very efficient! I’ve watched every moving vlog more than once lol
but overall loving your place! also idk if you have a small box or something you could put under the corner of your bed to hold it up and then did slide rug underneath? just an idea(:
I think they make longer power strip cords or maybe if the wires are able to be disconnected you could get longer cables?
Love seeing the progress! Thanks for sharing, Kristee!
The cart in front of the oven makes me nervous along with all the wiring near and around the gas stove. Definitely not safe. Can you move the cart so it’s behind you at the sink at least, making it centered below your map? And can the router wiring be extended out to your desk?
haha That’s happened to me too! Strap broke while I was out & about 😂🤣
