  • Welker Farms Harvest is back! And this time we brought three farms with us!
    After battling intense heat, severe drought, fires, and relentless smoke, farms throughout Montana pushed though the rough season and wrapped up harvest 2017. Epic/Cinematic music combined with spectacular 4K drone footage across four Montana farms is a recipe for a tremendous viewing experience. Sit back and enjoy the ride.
    Special thanks to: Wanken Farms, Grubb Farms, and Wahl Farms for letting me film their operations!
    Music:
    1.) audiojungle.ne...
    2.) No longer available on audiojungle.net
    3.) audiojungle.ne...
    4.)audiojungle.ne...
    Edited with Cyberlink's PowerDirector 16
    DJI Mavic Pro was the drone used in this video.

    I remember cutting wheat in sutton Montana in 1996. And the wheat fields we cut were just like this.. long and going forever. Many a wonderful sunset and running either a truck or tractor and train cart. We had a case tractor with a 800 kinze grain cart and we had 6 2388 case IH combines.... I'd do this again in a heart beat . I miss the days... thank you for sharing.

    Geez Nick you really our did yourself this time! This was incredibly well put together, both filmed and edited (wonder how many drone batteries you have lol). Very cool array of equipment You guys over there obviously go big or go home. I just still cant get over the lack of trees anywhere! i am in Western Australia and we are always dodging trees and rock piles everywhere whereas you guys certainly don't need to! Harvest is just starting to gear up for us. Hay is being cut and the swathers are out. Some have even started harvesting their barley.
    Thanks for the video Nick

    • @WelkerFarms
      @WelkerFarms  7 лет назад +2

      Thank you Connor! I use two batteries believe it or not, just make a lot of trips to the charger haha. It is amazing how few trees we have, our climate is just so harsh from hot and dry summers to extreme windy cold in the winters. Makes it difficult for trees to survive. But we do have lots of rocks and rock piles! Be safe and good luck harvesting!
