Me and my dads farm is in Norway. 25 cows milking, 20 bulls, 650 acres of land which we only grow grass on. Our biggest tractor is a John Deere 6125R.
It's so cool to see the difference from our farm and to this one! Nice video :)

14 red machines is pretty cool to see at once, and the "V" formation is super cool if you have enough room. It was a memorable experience when we had 14 green machines lined up on a field by the Denver, CO airport in '99, but if I recalle, we had to run on two sides of the field and the grain carts were running hard and broke a draw bar off one of the articulated Deeres', bolt must not have been torqued, but at any rate it did get driven as hard as possible on sometimes rough swales.
Damn that's a huge operation. I fly into Saskatoon to visit my in -laws. Love visiting the farm lands up there and seeing the huge machinery. Beautiful country. Currently live in CT, USA.

I've seen many farm video's from youtubers in Europe but farmers in Canada and the US are on a totally different level..wow.

On my farm we have about 170000 acres of cash crop in Saskatchewan canada
That’s a big operation even in the US. You also have to remember that the majority of American crops are produced for export to Asia.

What is the average size of field in your country?
@@gagandeepsingh2925 3000-6000 acres average field size, depends on the farmer and how much land he has that is connected in one spot but often fields are scattered around and could be as small as 640 acres or less but that's most common probably

I love farms. My ancestors were all farmers going back to the 1600's. Now...houses...houses everywhere ! Old farms are being dug up and "developments" go in. Then the people who ruined the place for the old families ...leave town with millions in profits .Higher taxes, higher congestion, higher crime, higher higher higher ! So then we have to move out...I love farming. matt.
Some of my shirttail relatives are Monette and they are farmers in Michigan, having come there generations ago from Quebec. My branch of the family ended up in Montana.

Are these combines and tractors from one farm? Or is it just for the film?
Its normal for big farms to have this many combines, tractors and equipment .
If you are farming 25,000 plus acres you will need that many tractors, drills, harvesters, etc.

Most farms lease there equipment from dealerships for like 2 years at a time. My family farm leases some and owns some of their equipment.

A Lot of farms in Saskatchewan are this size they don’t lease the equipment either they are just money smart

@@20RM02 it doesn't matter the scale though, these guys probably just break even, you can have 140,000 acres but if you fail to make money and pay too much for equipment your a shit farm, where I am from the Netherlands, we are the second biggest exporter in the world, we only have 10,000,00 acres in total but produce much more grain because of the efficiency, all these big farms probably suck the dicks of banks anyway

nice video, it's a pity that nowadays wheat is mainly used for animal feed and biodiesel, but still great accomplishment. To plough these huge fields must be tremendous work
Wheat is not mainly used for feeding and it isn't used for biodiesel at all and they don't plow the fields its all no till. Gheeezus chrysler
all in all the Machinery (sowing with the 7 cases) costs about 7,9 million dollars.

All the new equipment does, but it’s just auto steer, doesn’t “drive itself” just keeps you going in a strait line

Hi, I'm from Argentina and I wanted to ask you if the platform of the case ih combines in your country is like this or you modified it because here in Argentina the platforms bring together what they cut Through endless or draper and I just see that in his video his platforms are endless drapers and I never did that here in Argentina

Te referis al carro de los cabezales? No entendi muy bien la pregunta pero por si las dudas, si era lo que preguntabas aclaro que en paises avanzados los cabezales vienen con ruedas, es decir que no necesitan ningun carro para trasladarlos. Saludos
@@maximogiaccio5322 si, me refiero a la plataforma, que como se puede ver, posee una lona, osea draper y también posee un sinfín, creo que eso preguntaba, ya que nunca en mi vida vi eso, es muy raro, y no entiendo que beneficios puede tener, si sabes me avisas, saludos.
Pd: mi viejo también quedo impresionado al ver eso, y la verdad estamos tratando de saber que beneficios trae, ya que, al tener esos 2 sistemas juntos la plataforma se hace considerablemente mas ancha, ademas de mas pesada, y por lo que intuyo también mas complicada de mantener.
