I think its important to understand that they mentioned that the elder godward is not complete on live stream, and mentioned / leaned towards a new front in January. With that being said. There is no doubt in my mind that range will be getting new stuff, most commonly a new t95 bow/spec ; as melee, and magic have gotten a lot from the current fronts while range is sat with neither t95s or new specs. To conclude, I strongly believe that the new front will edge towards something to enhance this
honestly don't think so. Range has been sitting on top of combat style choice for bossing; the EDGs were focused to bring melee and primarily magic to be able to compete with range. I'm sure that they'll bring a t95 range weapon, but it wont overshadow magic and melee.
Melee is by far the best combat style for gp/dps (not including the new t95). you can get bis melee for the same price / less than a FSOA. or dual blights/ sgb/ ecb/ + still have a few bill left over to spend on cosmetics and fashion scape. Range and mage, are meant to be glass canon / high DPs from a far, while melee is all up in your face, if you've played any MMORPG that's the way the styles have always been. And allthough i agree mage needed the buff, since SOS was a shambles in terms on worse spec created, youre fooling yourself if you think range isnt going to get any t95s while every other combat has them.

I think the point was missed. The reason why the new ranged cape is not that good at the higher end is that ranged has soo many tools and adren dumps, that one more is nice but not really required. Meanwhile if we look at the melee cape, melee had to use dragon claws before as adren dumps which is terrible at converting adren to dps, so it is really good in that style. Same for mage which only had g staff as an adren dump before the new omnipower, since sos is negative dps and it has no other good spec weapons.
The same can be said for the melee/magic capes - having overpower/omnipower on 60% while dealing much more damage is also very impactful to non-endgame pvmers for the same reason as the range cape.
Can’t speak on melee, but as a range person, I find myself becoming a mager. Incite fear makes tsunami go from 100% ~> 40% adrenaline, the cape makes Omni power from 100% ~> 60%, and using tsunami makes criticals gain extra adrenaline, so using greater conc after tsunami, basically gives you the adrenaline back, and using greater chain then a discounted Omni power clears mobs. And you can do this within 5 seconds of each other instead of having to get up to 100% twice, and on top of that, it stacks with the ring of vigor and the relic, which means Omni power costs 40% and tsunami 20%. You use more ults with mage now and it’s absolutely meta.
Just went to rots solo and holy crap deadshot was so good there in 4 man it wouldny be but solo/duo its huge. Also its great outside ds and stacks with ecb which I didnt hear you mention
This doesn't replace your eof, it's just another thing to use. With hydrix bolts giving you more adren than you can use, this is worth using off cooldown unless you're in ds, as a 30k hit for 47 adren with no cooldown is way better.
I’ve been using it as a switch for glacor and use it when I get frost pillars and occasionally on minions. The ranged skillcape perk is too big to give up since I’m not maxed and still working on anachronia cape stand

I came back to rs3 after a 10 year break. It is honestly the BEST mmorpg i've played in years. way better than final fantasy 14. It takes some warming up to EOC, but once you start bossing it's amazing.
As a OSRS player who just dropped by to watch a video. I understand one in every 15 words said in this video. Crazy to think RS3 and OSRS are the same game but completely diff games.

Whether its making full use of the ability or not. Its just a stronger cape and you can still get the buffs from max cape with say range cape on it, so bobs your annie.
I died more than 10 times before gettin my first. My mistake was to fail and quit tryin for the day. Making a sequency of attemps will help you, because of the amout of information you gotta learn and keep in mind for the boss fight
With hydrixes you get a bajillion adrenaline it's nice sometimes to just dump some down, esp in group content where a melee player's gloves of passage buffs your bleed too

Why do you have your invention cape perk on your cape. It should be on Anachronia so you get the perk all the time, even when you are not wearing a cape.

It is definitley a disapointment for ranged. I have only used the mage cape with omnipower and it feels like a mage version of an SGB but with all hits guaranteed to hit. Inside a sunshine its broken AF and if you combine it with greater chain. Even more broke. Lol
@@whaleclouds you only need to beat his challenges to unlock hard mode. You get the igneus stone as long as you do the whole run in one go (no dying or leaving)
@@whaleclouds For challenge 1 and 2 you need to kill everything before the bar fills up (if you get a big typeless hit at the end you failed). Note that on challenge 2 only hits above 3k count, so use high hitting abilities. For challenge 3 equip your best shield and use barricade when the first attack comes your way. If you take any damage you fail the challenge. And as halfmoon said, you don't need to pass challenges to get kills or even the igneous stone.

I came back to the game but it did not last long (200hrs). End game content is good but prices for BIS stuff is becoming outrageous and will put off many including myself which is why I left again. They need to make ways to balance things out if they want a healthy economy.

Omni is definitely impactful to endgame magers. It interacts so well with everything Mage already has. It improves FSOA even more. Crazy stuff.

The kiln capes look 100x tougher than the zuk capes. Zuk capes look like some shit that would be 90% off in solomon's because nobody buys them.
I think the shape looks awesome, but it doesn't have enough of the lava flowing effect. Maybe the tri-zuk cape has more of the effect.

Deadshot with the cape is a great alt to dbow when you need the adren for abilities or something, works well in solo ambi.

In most cases it won't be better, though it depends on the boss and what bolts you use.
Just add the Range Cape to either thr Anachronia Cape Stand or your Max Cape.

Teleporting out counts as dying. You can NOT use checkpoints. (You have to do it in one go)
Why use melee? Just use range or mage
You don’t need to use melee even if you want the melee cape, you can use any style and still get an igneous stone.

Deadshot actually does benefit from DS. The first shot is not considered a bleed

That's true. I'd compare NM to Something like 100% Rax, and HM to 500% Telos or Solo Ambassador.
