But loving the phantom even more, definitely one of the beat investments into sound i have made. Would put it up their with Focal.

Because you asked for that sonh, I shall review it using it. I can tell you without a doubt in my mind, that this speaker's sub bass 30hz claim is not a lie. It cannot maintain the 30hz at higher volumes, but at the lower volumes it has a chance. This is bass you can feel, not just hear!
My dream speaker was BB3, now that I hear this Devialet mania this is now my current dream but man I need to save more money coz this isn't cheap haha😂😂
If you intend to use the Devialet Mania for streaming videos on a Windows device, be mindful that the sound will come out of speaker out of sync with the image in the video. Devialet is aware of this sound latency issue but does not intend on correcting it. The latency issue will not occur with IOS devices, only Windows and some cell phones.

Hey Bro, 1) I’d say about 1 meter away, I tried to follow ordinary listening testing distance 2) The comparison with the B&O A9 was not scientific in any way, The microphone was about 5 meters from the B&O and I took B&O A9 to about 75% volume. I just randomly did it out of curiosity. I will set up both units in a head to head test at the same distance from the microphone so that you get a more accurate measurement! Thanks

What we really want is , to hear how it sounds in real life setups /homes/rooms , to give us an idea if that’s the sound that we want to bring home , isn’t it ?. Yes I can confirm this, you really do not need another Mania as you get 360 sound with no blindspots. However, I must caveat that by saying it is hard to get stereo separation from it, the soundstage is limited. I got a 360 sound rather than a 2 channel stereo soundstage.
There is no way you can get a stereo effect with a 360° speakers. Because that is the whole point of a 360° speakers. It sounds like it is coming from everywhere. To get stereo, you need an angled projected speaker so your ears can pinpoint the sound source. This is one of the problems with a 360° speakers, in my opinion. Another biggest problem is that the mids and highs will sound muddied because mids and highs are not exactly good when they are bounced towards the floor or ceiling. It will lose a lot of clarity, which causes it to sound "muddied". You can also see the difference in this video's demonstration.
I see that you and I both share some devialet and B&O things, which house of sound you preffer? ( although I have mainly headphones and earphones ), thinking of getting some devialet speakers as their products in general have the " WOW " factor, while B&O is like more fine dish. You sit and you enjoy the detail and classy character.
Hahaha yes we both share Devialet and B&O things!! I like how you described both, WOW factor vs Fine Dish that you savour!! That is the perfect description of both :) So there are days I prefer the B&O sound (and to be specfic, the A9 with its balanced sound, not too bassy with great midrange and it can be as bright as you want it to be). Then when I want to just be a basshead with bassy music, devialet comes in nicely. The A9 is just a really powerful all rounder that makes a big living space seem small with its powerful sound. I would lov to own the 108DB Phantom one day!!

I’ll tell you what dude, this thing is going to shock you with it’s sound quality, especially that low end, it has that bass you can feel, and it’s doing it without any fancy DSP bass overloading which plague most Bluetooth speakers
Hi, I saw this speaker in Vandenborre (Belgium), but he wasn't on, today. I collect vinyl en a lot of classical music. I wonder if classical music sounds great too? Cause I see mostly tested with bass music. Thanks.
I think the Zeppelin wireless will definitely be more powerful, especially in a side to side comparison where all the speakers are facing you directionally. However, at full volume I believe the mania can keep up with the Zeppelin wireless, and I also believe the Mania might (as crazy as this sounds) have more bass than the Zeppelin!

@@langamlalazi6803 jbl boombox 3 or devialet mania in terms of power, jbl boombox 3 has 136 watts from the battery and 180 watts from the mains, devialet mania has a power of 176 watts (I don’t know from the mains or just from the battery) I understand that the speakers are for different directions of listening to music, but still what would you advise me to buy yes devialet mania will be a little more expensive but it doesn't matter to me

Devialet says there is no need to pair another Mania for stereo because it is 360° surround sound. Can you confirm?

I have a B&W zeppelin wireless, how do you think this would compare sound wise? Its quite a lot smaller?

At 65% volume I got about 6 hours give or take! I’m sure their optimum volume is 50% or less in testing!
