So you obviously don't know what your doing because of that as well you think it's cute but in reality hes a mess inside. That is also why you never ever see baby monkeys in the wild sucking there thumbs. Give him back to his mother and stop abusing baby monkeys!

I think these critters pick up traits of their owners. Maybe his eyes look calm because he trusts Mom, like other monkeys who wait to be fed hours alone, they are hyper vigilant out of fear. Also these babies latch on to a nipple and stay that way for months so sucking on his thumb is instinctive and a pacifier would be a solution to breaking his thumb sucking habit. I don’t think there is anything wrong with him, In fact it could be something is right. Blessed be

Learn how to climb a tree or forage for food or play with other baby monkeys. All of this life taken away for this woman to make a $ buck. So sad. He is one of the most precious babies I have seen.
