For youtube they are brought into the house to be dolled up and displayed for us to watch and be entertained. Most of the time they are presumably kept chained in cages outside the house and naked, until their next 'performance'. Owners use a tiny cane to discipline them, hence why we see them so subdued and well-behaved.
@@methinks8175 yes I've since seen on this one channel "monkey Jonny" this woman who I THOUGHT was so kind and loving keeps her Jonny in a CAGE that is so small for him - no wonder she's always holding him because he desperately wants to ESCAPE! In one of their videos they "accidentally" panned the camera while they were filming their new little baby monkey and it showed Jonny in the cage and everyone freaked and snapped a pic of it etc. (Of course they deleted that video now ...) AND it would appear they drug these monkeys too!
