Track #4 on Highway To Hell, the sixth studio album by AC/DC, released on July 27th, 1979. It was the last album with Bon, who died on February 19, 1980. And also the album that broke the band worldwide. This album was everywhere around the time it came out. I sometimes feel that the essence of AC/DC died with Bon. No offense to Brian Johnson, and certainly none to Angus or Malcolm (RIP), cuz they've remained consistently great. But it was never quite the same after Bon. **sigh**
The tuning always seems to be weird on AC/DC records; all over the place kinda. On Highway To Hell, the tuning approaches standard, but it's approximately +33 cents up, so one must pitch the track up, or the guitar down. Might be why it seems like there's less covers from this album than the others online. Cuz it's a hassle, lol!
I'm doing these cover videos purely for my own enjoyment - while I wait for the world to chill and the music biz to come back fully to begin the next phase of my upcoming planned project. Thought I'd share for anyone interested. I figure them out by ear, so any mistakes are solely my own. I think they're mostly right. Cheers.
