I LOVE Quebec City. I owe it to Quebec City for making me want to learn French. I want to spend a summer here one day, rent out one of the apartments in the Vieux Québec and spend my time in cafés and restaurants and speak French all day.
Can't believe I'm the first to comment. There should be a law all across Canada that forces architects and city planners to live in Quebec city for year before they can design a single thing. How much more beautiful would Toronto and Vancouver be with architecture like this? There's a reason old school is the best school. When it comes to aesthetics, Canadian cities need to level up. Don't even need to go all the way to Europe. Quebec City will show us how.
