In the scene where Master Chief was floating through space, I loved how gentle he was being with the fallen Marines compared to the dead aliens he was just throwing around. It really shows how much he cares about each and every one of his brothers. Really great detail IMO. Gave me chills.
I wonder if Skewer shoots faster than SPNKR? So maybe Skewer is best against fast, smaller vehicles and can knock them over. While SPNKR is best at huge explosions against slower tanks and stuff

I believe she deleted herself, or the domain didnt cure her rampency just contained it. You have the memory echos where Cortana says "if you knew you were going to die what would you do" I believe in H5 cortana tried to take over the universe to make it better because her rampency was eating away at her, slowly killing her.

Yeah, she definitely seems to have much less autonomy, which I actually like, because they seem to be hinting at a character arc for her to learn from Chief how to think for herself, who in turn learned that from the original Cortana. If executed correctly, that could be an excellent arc.
Who else would love it if they added hidden skulls back into the campaign/custom games, and when you find all of them you get some cool looking armor, bring me back to the good old halo 3 days.
That was one of the biggest things I noticed that just filled me with happiness. Its so reminiscent of using frags/carriers to blow the shotgun towards you when you have combat forms closing in on the library, and you couldn't run out and grab it before they would close the gap.
I'm a little embarrassed to admit, but I actually teared up a little when Chief took the chip from the back of the helmet and Cortana went into it. Nostalgia hit me harder there than I thought it would, plus the subtle music change was beautiful.
It looks clean. Honestly I think they nailed a great balance of "Old Halo vs New Halo" aesthetics. The visuals look modern, yet still very clean and not overly flashy nor is your screen cluttered with particle effects and other obnoxious stuff. It's a very tasteful approach to modernizing Halo and I love it.

I think what they should show more and it seems like they are, is how he struggles on the inside. For a man like John, showing emotions is weakness but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have them, I hope they show more of what’s going on in chiefs head. Wouldn’t mind hearing his thoughts. Etc. but as for what actually comes out of his mouth, he’s a solider, it should be quick and to the point in a badass way. That’s chief. He’s always about getting the job done without weakness.
The whole point of 343 making chief talk more was to flesh out the story of him and cortana even more, something you obviously aren’t smart enough to understand.

5:13 it's a shield that makes charged plasma bolts bounce off, most likely an equipment like the grapple. Although if I had to balance it I'd make the wearer impervious to local damage (chest area) and maybe one last perk too (works against other projectiles such as plasma grenades?).
There are robot arms AND legs! Also, the armor shielding flashes brighter in areas that are getting hit directly. They also animated the ejector ports opening to dispense the brass casings! There is so much small detail!
Everything was fantastic, except the “seasons” that usually means a season pass AKA battle pass which is a big turn off for me. Everything else was solid tho

@Con-El I get you want to be optimistic. We all love Halo. But in my opinion Bungies games were far superior. Why would you want anything less. The idea behind a successful franchise is that every iteration should get better and better. 343 has proved they cannot do that. I think if we want to make an expectation about a game you need to look at a developers track record. 343s is horrible(compared to bungies games) It’s like eating a hot pocket after you’ve tasted a delicious steak. Nothing will ever taste that good. That’s why it’s so disappointing seeing their games because you know it could be better. It has been better.

Which 5 was marketed to do just that. I think 343 has done well improving the multiplayer and forge. I’ll give em that, and I’ve never been against the movement mechanics.(part of the reason I love reach) But for the people who play for the campaign like me, I think want the realism and grittiness of reach and ODST. Halo to me felt real like it could really happen in the future it was mature. This to me feels like a cartoon. Or a power rangers episode, but you’re right. The new Cortana is like the UNSC version of Offensive Bias.
Multiplayer looks really fun and that Armour, sweet mother of god.

The blog post they did says it has an overwatch-style outline system. I guess we'll see how that looks tomorrow.
They said that in-game you're gonna see outlines for teams, they just didn't put it in the trailer because it wasn't as Cinematic

Noticed there wasn't much blood, if any, in the multiplayer reveal trailer. Hope they add some like Halo 1 or 2.

Just recently, found the channel by watching a recommended video about flood lore. Couldn't stop watching videos and now I am hyped for Halo Infinite. I will definitely get this game.
I’m now super excited for this game and less worried. The multiplayer looks like my cup of tea and I can’t wait to grind the hell out of it on launch day. I’ll of course play the campaign first
I just wanna see them bring that rag doll death back like if a vehicle hits you and you go flying or when you get blown up it sends you into the air one of the things that makes halo 3 multiplayer so fun

I noticed that "the weapon" (cortana 2.0) stands at parade rest when Chief is looking at her. But when he looks away she stands at ease. Then when he looks at her again she snaps back to parade rest.

5:13 it's a shield that makes charged plasma bolts bounce off, most likely an equipment like the grapple. Although if I had to balance it I'd make the wearer impervious to local damage (chest area) and maybe one last perk too (works against other projectiles such as plasma grenades?).

There are robot arms AND legs! Also, the armor shielding flashes brighter in areas that are getting hit directly. They also animated the ejector ports opening to dispense the brass casings! There is so much small detail!

Everything was fantastic, except the “seasons” that usually means a season pass AKA battle pass which is a big turn off for me. Everything else was solid tho

@Con-El I get you want to be optimistic. We all love Halo. But in my opinion Bungies games were far superior. Why would you want anything less. The idea behind a successful franchise is that every iteration should get better and better. 343 has proved they cannot do that. I think if we want to make an expectation about a game you need to look at a developers track record. 343s is horrible(compared to bungies games) It’s like eating a hot pocket after you’ve tasted a delicious steak. Nothing will ever taste that good. That’s why it’s so disappointing seeing their games because you know it could be better. It has been better.
@Con-El I get what you’re saying. I desperately want this to be a good game. I’m just not gonna make the mistake I did with 4 and 5 which was thinking it could match or even exceed bungies games. Which 5 was marketed to do just that. I think 343 has done well improving the multiplayer and forge. I’ll give em that, and I’ve never been against the movement mechanics.(part of the reason I love reach) But for the people who play for the campaign like me, I think want the realism and grittiness of reach and ODST. Halo to me felt real like it could really happen in the future it was mature. This to me feels like a cartoon. Or a power rangers episode, but you’re right. It’s wrong to expect the same DNA that made bungies great. But man you can’t help it when the game holds the name “Halo”
Bro, halo has to evolve if it wants to be a competitor to other games, barely any one plays mcc anymore compared to how much everyone used to play it. They have to evolve halo some way so they can grow their player base and bring in new players that never played halo. I personally am liking this direction that 343 is taking and can’t wait for the campaign
