Wondrous melodies like this are why I absolutely LOVE the lute! I'm learning acoustic guitar now...but hopefully I can progress to the lute sometime in the future. A truly fantastic instrument!!
As someone who loves quiet, relaxing music, this is very nice, as someone who plays guitar, that’s way too many strings! Idk how many there are, but it’s more than 6, and on anything that’s guitar shaped, that’s too many for comfort 😭
i'm not lute expert, but it looks to be about 22 total strings, but 10 of those are played like you would a 12 string guitar, and play 2 of the strings at a time, so its more like 12 strings!
