Attic Insulation and Whole House Fan Customer Testimonial in Clovis, CA

Hylon Kaufmann of Clovis, CA called Tyson Energy Solutions seeking a remedy her uncomfortably hot house and high air conditioner usage during the summer. Even though she has solar panels on her condo, her air conditioner was struggling to keep up during the extreme heat of the Central Valley summers.
Hylon met Chris Tyson at the Fresno Home Show and she brought in Chris and team to help her address these issues.
To resolve the temperature discomfort in her home, we sealed the air leakage points in her attic and blew in premium fiberglass insulation. Hylon says that she immediately noticed a difference in her heating bills in the winter.
That next summer, we added an attic fan and whole house fan. The attic fan pulls in cooler air from the outside and helps keep the attic stay cool, which enhanced Hylon's HVAC system's ability to produce cool, conditioned air. The whole house fan pulls cool air from the outside of the home and flushes out the hot air out through the attic vents.
Hylon says that she barely has to turn on her air conditioner now! She believes the savings on her cooling bill allowed her to recoup the costs just that first summer.
