It's wild to see you in my RUclips recommended videos again ❤. My RUclips watching habits have changed since. My personal situation hasn't tangibly improved: I'm still living in a tent in the UK 🏕️🇬🇧🌧️🌬️. The main difference is that I was joined by a stray cat 🐈⬛. Another difference is that I learned Python (the programming language). I did it without a PC - with only a smartphone. Right in my sleeping bag. I will eventually seek job opportunities in IT but I need to build a professional online profile first - and I will take time to do it because I don't like rushing.
I vividly remember first China Vlogs I watch was your " is it safe in China" later the serpent guys , it's been 9 years, you guys open the window to China, regardless of political view, we all know your integrity vs the other one, now I continue to watch China contents though other came along and make my decision on what's propaganda and what's truth from both side in term of US and China! I'm pretty much hold your realist world view instead of bla ck and white one! Sorry you never fulfilled your cycling the world vision but you're an eternal Optimist and keep moving forward! I had to admit my last video watch of you cycling tour was when you cycle Japan and Korea, even though I did saw you cycle through Italy, I didn't assume you give up cycling all together, I just thought you won't do it like you lay out plan way back when circumventing the globe consecutively through chain of countries, may be now you can lay out route reverse from initial plan and go from US to China😂fill me in if you wish!

China changed quite a lot the last 3, 4 years. Curious how you perceived these changes also because you probably changed a lot during and after Covid and Van life.
It doesn't matter, the world is so small anyway, and you can reach China by sleeping on the plane. In the 1990s, every time we parted, we felt a little sad because of the inconvenience of transportation and communication. Now, even though we are thousands of miles apart, we chat every day, as if we have never left.
I have 20+ years of software development behind me. Let someone really test your app by letting them use it with as many scenarios as possible. Use it, break it. Make sure people with diverse needs use it. Software development is more akin to forging than anything else.
exactly... theres only so many scenarios i can think of.. getting it into the thick of it will break it for sure.. one reason i dont want to say too much before we work the bugs out.
You got my curiosity up as you know, I lived and worked in Taiwan for three years in a cycling industry, acted more as a designer and would give American feedback on new products, but my initial reason for going there to get my product manufactured, but that never panned out.
