Great video love the sheep work
Hii new sub. Just rekindling some old memories through your footage which i might add is rather excellant. Ok stay safe out there.
love your work mate
Thanks mate. Always great to see you and the dogs working the sheep. Great teamwork.
Thanks for another excellent video Lochie. Nicely done mate,
Chatting to a fellow the other day he mentioned Dorpers are one of the best meat sheep, do you think that's correct?
Do you run any Dorpers.. ?
Always educational and entertaining.
Please keep up the video's.. they are excellent
Thanks Mark, each to their own opinion, dorper definitly tastes different, and they are down on production compared to the dorsets, but obviosly have their place. Less maintenance being the biggest one! We don't run any and if we did run a shedding sheep it would be the aussie white i recon.
Thanks for the response Lochie, I'm just learning and therefore asking questions..
Aussie Whites would be your preference.
Thank you for the feedback.
First comment.. awesome as mate
Do you have much losses due to predation ie. wild dogs, fox's?
Yea foxes are probably the biggest killer of the lambs. We bait and have been out spotlighting most nights to try and stay on top of them! No wild dogs luckily yet
