After I edit the vids...I listen to them as an audio podcast to see if it works on its own, since I'm trying to make them work as "audio only" , although I don't think many folks do listen to the audio only, so I'm glad to hear someone is!
I enjoy your video. I’m thinking of moving to San Miguel. I don’t speak much Spanish. I wish you could make a video on the bugs in San Miguel scorpions stuff like that. Is it a lot of bugs?
We've been in San Miguel about two 2 and a half months, since mid -February. The bugs haven't had much of an impact on us, so far. Mosquitoes bugged us a little bit at this airbnb since there were no screens on most of the windows, and we really needed to have the windows open in the evenings to cool the place down. I've thought about scorpions, but we haven't seen any as yet. CG wanted to leave our shoes outside of the door one afternoon, and I thought "nope, that's not a good idea", so we didn't. I was thinking of Guanajuato, a beautiful town about 50 miles from San Miguel, and when we stayed there, we did encounter a small scorpion in our airbnb. In fact, a number of folks had mentioned scorpions in the reviews, and one guest had been stung by a scorpion at the apartment, so scorpions are definitely a thing around here. I'm wondering if we'll see more bugs in San Miguel when we get into the rainier season. So far, we've only seen one day of real rain since February, but the rains should start to pick up in June, and the rainiest months I've been told are July and August.
I'm glad this format is working for you...I listen to a lot of podcasts while I'm putzing around in the kitchen, so I've been enjoying making them, too
I don't listen to podcasts in general. I used to listen to 2 others, but they are really too much for me and the podcasts last several hours. I just don't have that long of an attention span 😂. But I really enjoy slowpoke because I like the chitchat between you two. And I don't have to watch the video, but if I do watch there's plenty to enjoy..
since it's youtube, I try to make these podcast uploads at least semi-interesting to look at, but my hope is that they can be enjoyed without the video portion
I LOVE your rambling! 🤣😆🤣
thanks...I'm always telling CG that our lack of focus is where we shine
These podcasts are so entertaining and informative
super kind of you to say...thanks for watching!
Enjoyed the walk and conversation. Always feel sorry for all the stray cats I see when I travel. Some of them are in need of vet care.
There're a lot of cats and dogs in Mexico off on Disney adventures
I've enjoyed the longer format. I usually will listen on the way home from work and watch the video version on my day off.

These podcasts may not be meant for us (according to Buck) but I enjoy them either way while i'm chilling! :D

😺 camera girl to the rescue 😹🐯🦸🏼
I listen to all of them but don't comment much.
we're hardly saying anything either
The birds sound good
😅 Buckn noise 😅
The bird enthusiasm around this aibnb is 10 out of 10
Tomar = to take (common language, to imbibe or ingest)
Bebir = to drink (dictionary def)
😂 we're listening 😅
Si!...but I know what CG means, because often in restaurants servers will ask "que va a tomar?" When asking if you desire a beverage
Languages all over the world and everywhere the cat language is the same😺❤
yes...we just moved in with a new cat yesterday and he's telling us how things are gonna work around here--and we're listening!
