Excellent video, thank you! Nice to see her S2 getting a spotlight! The great thing about this game is that there's no need to pull any specific operator, including Wisadel. However, she is the strongest operator, so if you need damage and can't afford many operators, then she is the most efficient choice. She will make all new players have a much easier time with all events, and will help people that prefer to read the story rather than the harder gameplay.
For me, the best part about Wis’adel is the fact that Hoederer is in her E2 art, will definitely be getting her as i want the whole darknight trio, and i want to make a Babel team as well.
Pretty sure with the arrival of Wisadel, HG is going to make more stages with even more weird mechanics and even stronger enemies and bosses as the compensation. Plus with Logos being in the same banner, it would be weird to not pulling her banner.
There's been powercreep all the time, but I'm not aware of the enemies becoming significantly stronger to match this, other than for a few events like DoS or max risk CC. I don't think anyone needs to be concerned about the powercreep for now since HG have been very good about it in the past.

The great thing about this game is if you don't want to pull for walter, you don't have to. It's a strategy game at it's core, and there are still people clearing difficult stages with 3 and 4 stars (those being mainly I love Amiya and dr.silvergun respectively)
I can't deny that Wisadel is stupidly broken but the real reward is after you suffer through stages you will like it, there is a reason I love Arknights.
I hate dis girl because she made Rosmontis doesn't have any chance to rise as a flinger operator. Actually Walter just powercreep almost everyone and Rosmontis is already irrelevant (in most case) since a long time ago but eh I don't care. Justice for car daughter.
A similar thing can be said about any dps operator with less than 3k physical dph and no form of armor pen. They just can’t deal with the armor values of current elite enemies (3.2k for the babel giants, etc).

also something to add for her summons, it deals pretty great off skill dmg. even comparable to off skill 5 stars, so to have a 50 res, 3.5k hp and 500+ def ally unit, just summonable with a mere click of a skill, is insaneee

But there isn't any unit yet who can out damage her or has so many use cases like her yet. I dont know what IS5 has, but i am sure even there walter should be able to carry decently or even better at some stages.

She has camouflage. Invisible is the stronger one but funnily enough there are some cases where camo is better like when you place operators in of an originou altar, for some reason if they have camo they don’t take damage but invisibility doesn’t protect you from it

They now must do harder or more gimmick stages that negate her insane dmg so they won't be casually bruteforced. Where we have operators dealing 'set % on attack on hit' for attack buff synergy like Warfarin and Sora, or most having attack up, or a crit talent, or attack speed, W comes in with 13 unique, multiplicative modifiers on each skill. 3rd skill? Atk up, atk % set on hit, and her passive crit guaranteed, 3 multiplicative boosts on her 3rd skill is crazy, her attack may be shown as 2k, but it's really more 8k+ and more in Mateorite levels AOE. Yes, there is some fun use in her summons to bypass mechanics or so forth, but ultimately, they are so boring. You said it yourself, immensely tanky, and while 1 at least exists, W is near immortal with no penalties, I don't really need to care for positioning, or someone healing her, etc. And then there's the fact the summons are machine guns that do a ton of damage. The moment she has 3, said 3 helping her with cover fire makes her proc her passive most of the time and make her do constant, heavy AOE damage that's superior to the majority of operators on skill. Her 1st skill is also insane, especially with Archetto and Ch'en, even more so if you toss in a passive from Shu, with the guaranteed stun it becomes ridiculous. So yeah, I'd have been fine like with Yato, if it was just nonsense damage, event mechanics can make that not be an auto-win, even if damage is most important in the game, but this even surpassed Texas' power creep, as where Texas came with huge damage on a global scale and infinite utility, this W comes with even bigger damage on pretty much a global scale, infinite CC in one of several ways, and she is simply immortal in 99% of cases.
Yeah, the camo and tanky summons are the real problem because it makes her the ultimate corner camper. Deleting bosses is cool and all but the fact that she can solo 80 enemies because they can't clap back is a huge issue. Flashy numbers aside, the true Walter is a 4-in-1 operator that can't die while being able to both AoE clear and single clear multiple units at the time across multiple lanes - like if Mumu's S3 had permanent uptime and deployed ranged Mudrocks. Walter basically gives you 3+ utility slots for operators, meaning that you can *always* find room to "Surtr it" and the likes in other parts of the map. Instead of counting power creep in numbers, perhaps it should be counted in utility slots for other operators, since it's the same thing that made Ling and Chalter so broken back in the day. Once a unit can solo a lane, it means you can shove the remaining 11 units onto other lanes and the boss.
I don't know if I'm the only one who think of this. This is just a speculation so take it with a grain of salt. Favorism toward some characters, illustrators, or some elements in the story has always been a thing for HG so far and W has been featured in plenty of promotional medias in the last few years, even frequently replace Ch'en as one the 'Poster Girl' Trio (the other two being Amiya and Hag'tsit), let alone the fact that she's technically 'created' by Lowlight himself. So, I'm not surprised at all when she finally got an alter, and a super broken one, due to those things. In fact, I was surprised that some people couldn't believe it when her alter was released 😅 I won't be surprised either if they release alter version of Namie's kid or Skadi's second alter out of the blue sooner or later. I'm not a fan of super broken ops though because sometimes the gameplay could become boring with them, but she could still be a nice addition to my roster if I get her while pulling for Logos. Mainly because she has history with the OG RI/Babel.
You cannot have powercreep in a single player game. New Stages are still being cleared with 3 stars. Even if difficulty increases in future, we will get more powerful ops as well.
The last line contradicts you first. You can absolutely have power creep. Modules are power creep almost by definition. Power creep however, is not bad in itself. I like it mostly. I wish that Logos was the #1 and wisadel was a close second.

Favorism toward some characters, illustrators, or some elements in the story has always been a thing for HG so far and W has been featured in plenty of promotional medias in the last few years, even frequently replace Ch'en as one the 'Poster Girl' Trio (the other two being Amiya and Hag'tsit), let alone the fact that she's technically 'created' by Lowlight himself. So, I'm not surprised at all when she finally got an alter, and a super broken one, due to those things. In fact, I was surprised that some people couldn't believe it when her alter was released 😅 I won't be surprised either if they release alter version of Namie's kid or Skadi's second alter out of the blue sooner or later.
I'm not a fan of super broken ops though because sometimes the gameplay could become boring with them, but she could still be a nice addition to my roster if I get her while pulling for Logos. Mainly because she has history with the OG RI/Babel.

Modules are power creep almost by definition.
Power creep however, is not bad in itself. I like it mostly. I wish that Logos was the #1 and wisadel was a close second.
