That was really nice, quite beautiful. Your technique a la Filisko is something inspiring for me, something to work with. Thank you so much for sharing. Peace. 😊
I've never taken an interest in Icelandic harmonica music, but this song is really, really beautiful and I'm very glad I got recommended it. Is there any way to watch this movie if you live outside of Iceland? I love artistic stuff like this and it'd be great if it was available somewhere online.
Really interesting technique. Thanks for sharing! Love the vibe! Can you share more on the technique you are using? I get the tongue blocking, but how do you combine that with bending? What key is it and is this Richter tuned? So many questions but so inspiring!
thank you! it's hard to explain over text but you can bend on one side of the tongue while toungue blocking, it's something I heard Joe Filisko do and just found out by trying. It's a richter tuned harp in the key of A in 3rd position.
Beautiful!🥹Looking so much forward to seeing/hearing the whole thing. What a great tribute to your father.❤
so so haunting and beautiful. truly transportive.
