Baby gorilla Sumomo turned 2 year old on May 31, 2024.
Due to the not-good health of her mother Momoko, Sumomo was separated from the Haoko Troop a few days after she was born, and had been raised by her keepers.
Sumomo returned to her troop in March 2023.
Although she had been separeted, her troop members are so friendly and even so possesive about her.
Sumomo has been growing well and independent.
She enjoys playing by alone, and with her siblings especially her brother Riki.
Her every expression and the way she moves is so cute that she melts our hearts.

赤ちゃんゴリラのスモモは、2024年5月31日に2歳の誕生日を迎えました。
母モモコの体調不良のため、スモモは生まれて数日後にハオコの群れから引き離され、飼育員さんによって人工哺育で育てられていました。
スモモは2023年3月にハオコの群れに戻りました。
離ればなれの期間があったにもかかわらず、家族たちはスモモのことをとても気にかけており、良好な関係を築けています。
スモモはすくすく成長し、ひとりで走り回ったりエサを取って食べたり、きょうだい達（特にリキ）とよく遊ぶようにもなりました。
スモモの表情や動き一つ一つがとてもかわいらしく、見る人をほっこりさせてくれます。
スモモ、2歳のお誕生日おめでとう！
