      How much did you pay?

I like the use of the outside mirrors in the Mickey Mouse Ears position. I have recently converted to rotating my mirrors to the upright position. MUCH better blind spot visibility.

In December 2021 I bought a new 2022 RAM 2500 4x4 Laramie with the Hemi engine with a 3000 pound payload rating. It is unlikely that I will ever tow more than a single axle utility trailer. We made a 2000 mile round trip from Texas to Kentucky recently primarily on interstate roads. This truck like to FLY. Once 65 mph is achieved, the speed must be monitored closely if cruise control is not engaged. Very easy to be passing big rigs like they are standing still. Since we only have our luggage in the back seat, the downshift is seamless going up a hill with no load in the bed. It is my daily driver.

The new Ram’s are gorgeous, especially the interior. Must be incredibly comfortable on the highway!

Must be truck month! We just had the new 2022 Nissan Frontier and for pure driving, that smaller truck was fun to tool around in. When it comes to ownership I think all of us driving enthusiasts secretly would love a solid reason to own any size truck as a second vehicle. But even that small Frontier can barely eek out 19 mpg overall. And I would imagine all the manufacturers are rushing to get a Maverick competitor to market. Great vid!

The new frontier looks awesome! I’m excited to see more maverick sized trucks. I’d love to see a Honda or Toyota mini truck… it’s not like they haven’t been in that segment before! I think more people need a ridgeline or maverick/Santa Cruz style pickup than an actual truck. I know I secretly want one lol

The guy driving, I can tell you passionately hate trucks!
I mean with a beer gut like that we know you’re not working it, loading/unloading, hooking up trailers, loading firewood etc.

Yes, truck drivers are commonly known as the most physically fit demographic 😂
      Thanks for watching though!

Guess it’s a good thing it holds so much so it can stay on the road with us in it 😂 also eating too much and NOT being able to perform physical tasks are not mutually exclusive to one another at least you took away that I hate trucks. That was good intuition

The video: “we don’t love trucks”
      You: “you’re fat”
      😂

Well, we compare primarily to its contemporaries and in 2018 the 6.7 Powerstroke in the F:350 made 450 hp and 935 lb-ft. The Ram 3500 in 2018 made 385 hp and 930 lb-ft so a bit closer to the Powerstroke numbers (the 2500 we tested made less power and didn’t tow as much as the 3500). I think the 2023 high output Cummins makes 1,075 lb-ft so it’s not far off from the impressive 1,200 lb-ft the 2023 Ford produces. Still both fully specced tow nearly 40k lbs!! It’s insanely impressive what all modern diesels can do.
