    I admire the amount of patience you must have. Was thinking about swapping out the headlights on mine but after watching this, I think I’m good.

      Haha yeah it’s quit an undertaking, it could be soo much simpler like they use to be.

    Great video but the process just to take the headlight out is fucking ridiculous.

    How long did your have this light before you noticed that moisture? Have your head issues since?

      It was pretty quickly after getting them. Got a replacement and haven’t had an issue since, it’s been 9 months and most of that was in the winter

    you mentioned a metal tab you have to push down on beind the corner trim piece, I had a hard time finding it, can't seem to find what to push down, ? can you clarify please thanks

    • @GreenMountainProjects
      @GreenMountainProjects  Год назад

      It sandwiches the top edge of the trim piece. Your pulling it down to release the pressure on the trim so there isn’t as much friction when trying to pull it out. Hope this helps a bit. Kinda hard to explain.

      @@GreenMountainProjects thanks for the reply, I just saw it on another video so between his and your explaination I finally figured it out, this is the only thing I do not like about my ram truck is the headlight changeout

    Do you know if 5.7 e-torq use diferent plugs than the 5.7 non e-torq? I bought led headlights for non factory led lights and those lights came with lager connector than mines. Thank you.

    • @GreenMountainProjects
      @GreenMountainProjects  Год назад +1

      No the e-torq wouldn't matter the plugs should be the same. The only difference is if you ram is a tim model that comes with the factory OEM LED headlights or the OEM halogen ones.

      @@GreenMountainProjects like I said, mine is halogens factory, I bought headlights for this application and came with different connector. Thank you for your reply!

    I’ve got the same issue, how’d you go about having them send you another?

    • @GreenMountainProjects
      @GreenMountainProjects  2 года назад

      Just gave them a call they have great customer service, just make sure they know that they have to send you a new one first or else you will be without a headlight.

    So you are saying you went aftermarket so that it keeps faili g and need to go through all that work multiple times when the stock LED lights are crazy bright already?? Jesus wish i had your free time

    • @GreenMountainProjects
      @GreenMountainProjects  4 месяца назад

      If you paid attention these replaced the extremely dim stock halogen lights... And yes it was worth it as these LED are so much better and once replaced they have had no issues for over two years.

      @@GreenMountainProjects stock halogen?? You must have cheated out and bought base then cause anything other than base has LED
