Thanks for bringing this back to my memory. Damn cant believe I forgot about Little Mountain. I did sell Motely Crew all their Nintendo when they were in Vancouver recording their album. The band walks into the store all the other sates-men walk away and leave me. Little did they all know what I knew. Another great video about this great city.

Hey man i was there in 1988 and me and my two other friends where at that door entrance, and they were talking and i saw a guy walking together, it was a body guard and BON JOVI, i jumped in the air and said look guys who's coming. Man he was not that tall at all ! 1:11 After he came out, some other people were there getting autographs, and he was just there waiting for a taxi, about in front of the entrance where that rock was ! i was standing about just in front of that white van, and he looked at me a few times LOL waiting for the taxi, i was too scared to go up to him and ask for an autograph if you can believe it !

    Wow!
I never knew that building beside TOKO was the old Little Mountain Studios.
For the past 2 years, I’ve been driving by that building almost 3 to 4 times a week to visit my then girlfriend (now my wife).
I thought Little Mountain would be on the same street/area to another famous defunct recording studio called Mushroom Studios.
    Remember them, eh?
    I’m sure you do!
Thank you so much for another fun fact video, JCVC!
Cheers and look forward to your next episode, my friend!
PS off topic, but FYI the BC Penitentiary Gatehouse and the Gaol Buildings have been sold. I saw a guy removing fridges out of the old Royal Castle Pub that was there. I had asked him what the new BC Pen owner has planned. He said he didn’t know.
Loved hanging out at that pub. Favourite hangout of mine. Miss it very much.

      @@lovitz69 yes, you’re absolutely right.
I just imagined Little Mountain was in the same neighbourhood or street as Mushroom.

Catching up on JCVC videos after a long week at work. I could have played banjo on their "Livin' on a Prayer" but, sadly...no one ever asked me to... ;-)

Glad Tidings Temple Choir recorded "Now Is The Time" at Little Mountain Sound. We worked very hard on it. Glad Tidings Choir and London Orchestra were arranged, conducted and produced by the late Doug Moody. Recorded at Wessex Studios, London England and The Little Mountain Sound Co. Vancouver

It's been a few years since I've visited the No. 5 but at 4:40 you can see the edge of the shower on stage at the left side of the photo. It wasn't very big and the bottom was surrounded by glass. Ah, memories! Bon Jovi was back in Vancouver recording in 1988 and JBJ came up on stage the night Def Leppard played in Vancouver on the Hysteria tour.
