    My husband played this for me on the violin (with orchestral accompaniment on his bluetooth speaker 😂) when he proposed; he asked me to marry him during the song at 2:05 min. ❤

    Thank you Maestro Ennio for this beautiful masterpiece 💜 as a child my Nonna put on Cinema Paradiso for all us grandchildren to watch and to this day it’s still one of my favorite films. 😊

    I have listened to MANY renditions of this but this one the violin seems RICHER TONES. HE IS WONDERFUL. UNFORTUNATELY I GET THE MELODY CAUGHT IN MY MIND AND KEEP GOING BACK TO IT LIKE A HAMSTER ON A WHEEL.

    Magnificent Composition exquisitely played by Renaud Capuçon. His violin, formerly owned by Isaac Stern has an unbelievable warmth and together with the long legato lines of the melody this rendition emotes such intensity of emotion. Bravo Monsieur Capuçon! Your playing has touched and fascinated me so, that I immediately sent for the CD. Thank you for your artistry et bonne chance.

    I have never seen the movie (just ordered it online!) but heard this BEAUTIFUL tune many times. Reminds me a lot of Schindlers list theme. Superbly played.

    A very beautiful rendition (BTW I was lucky enough to be present at Renaud Capuçon's one-night only concert in March at Olympia in Paris) but my favourite versions will be 1st Itzhac Perlman, 2nd Joshua Bell and 3rd but not least Chloe Hanslip. 😊🎉
