another option i like to do in the corner is back dash to avoid the low rekka and punish it. Characters like Angel and Kyo who can do an input during their backdash can get a jumping attack punish. this option loses to delay second rekka and overhead but the risk reward is in your favor. if you guess right you do huge damage, if you guess wrong, you eat an overhead.
That was also really strong in kof13! That’s a great choice. I tried to stay away from character specific punishes in this video, but you’re absolutely right

Nice video again. I usually smash light attacks and it seems to work with the players I've faced off so far so I had no idea Kyo's 236A was this versatile.
You mentioning Guard Canceling to get out of the Rekka also gave me the idea that you should make a guide about Guard Canceling in the future if possible. I seems to only ever do Guard Cancel when I panic roll off attacks so I still have little knowledge on how to use the mechanic properly and I think many others would be in the same boat.

Nice vid, also, if Kyo reads your back roll he can also punish with a EX R.E.D kick if he doesn't follow the rekkas, it is a hard read though

Sorry for the late reply. Kyo has insane corner pressure. You’ll have to watch your replays to see what your opponent does and think of strategies to counter it
