in this video, I am troubleshooting a i10 petrol ecm and trying it to repair,
the ecm is fully dead. the voltage regulator is getting very hot as soon as it gets pugged in the car. lets see how it goes.

Bro, what happened to the earlier video, where you have worked on a Bolero ECM, you have made 3 parts, but due to time constraint, could not explain the reason for High CAN voltage drop, of course you did it at the end, but did not explain the reason, can you please explain if possible.

I wasn’t a can voltage drop, it was a high voltage that was dropping. Basically, the ecm will only make the high voltage if one of the 4 injector is connected. That’s what I did with the bulb, ecm thought that there is a injector connected, so it provided the required voltage.

Old ways of testing short components by sense of human touch. When the voltage is injected that time the current drain will indicate that there is a component which needs replacement, or with the help of thermal camera the faulty component could be identified quickly rather than sensing by touching it.

yeah, but thermal camera are very expensive right now, there are some work around it. people who are new in this field can't spent that much money right away. although I am working in this field from 20 years never felt the need of thermal camera. but I know it is a very good tool to have it in your arsenal.
