I am not physical abuse
I am not mental abuse
I am not emotional abuse
I am not confused
I am not depressed
I am not stupid
I am not lost
I am not rejected
I am not last choice
I am not just a mother
I am not just a wife
I am not just Ka’Naylah
I am Gods child
I am right where he wants me to be
Those things shaped me, they are not who I am. Those things are not mines ! I do not own them!!
I’ve allowed these things to become my identity. But today I’m leaving them behind because these labels have hindered me.
I kept asking for God to come in and change me but I wasn’t even truly open to him fully transforming my heart and mind. I found comfort in the things that shaped me.
God graciously allowed storms to come my way that stripped me of everything that was not him. He broke me down to my core. Everything I held tight to he showed me he was in control of it so I might as well let him be him, let it go and I be me. I was gracefully broken so he could build me up to who he created me to be. I hope through this podcast God can break off your past and show you what he put inside of you, who does he call you, and what does he want for.
Come out of the story the enemy wrote for your bloodline and walk into the one God wrote.
