You can tell Carra has so much respect for Casemiro too, he’s not slagging him off, it’s brutal accurate honesty
@@ViVeriVniversvmVivusViciwhy is that a diss? Isn’t Messi there ?
I’ll never forget that midfield trio of Casemiro, Modric and Kroos. To maintain that level of dominance for years in the Champions League is utterly remarkable.
It will be an absolute crying shame if Casemiro’s career ends like this.

Its actually crazy to think he's still 32. Got to respect players like modric and kroos even more for playing at such a high level even at their age.
He's probably 42 for real. He's also overweight now😊
So you think if at all Modric or Kroos join united, things gonna change?.😅😂
This is EPL
This was one of the reasons why we sold him to United. He wasn't looking the same and becoming overweight. Got to say though for second when he first joined United I thought we made a mistake but then he started revealing him true self. Modric has been amazing even now he plays good and fast. Modric can't play the full game though.

Well Casemiro did go to Man United to retire who we’re stupid enough to offer him a 4 year contract worth 400k a week 😂😂
The whole culture of the club is so negative right now it’s killing the entire team no matter who they sign. Casemiro and Varane were performing as good as they were for Madrid at the beginning of their United stint but they’ve just had the life sucked out of them. Even ageing doesn’t kill a footballer of this quality this fast.
casemiro was never elite, carried by kroos and modric
Elite footballers go to the Man Utd to collect their pensions. Cavani, Ibra, Ronaldo, now Casemiro.
When Perez sells you a player at his perceived prime, you should be worried. He has scammed United of over 100m from Casemiro and Varane 😂😂
😂😂 You know Perez better than his Peers 👏🏼👏🏼
Tbf both players have done good service especially varane for the fee we got him for
Casemiro yes we got prob played there, but varane has been very good for us I think.

@@VirkStar321you are not thinking or analyzing enough here. No player Real Madrid has sold you has been worth your money or time. When you buy these players from real you buy the young ones like tchouameni or you walk away. Don’t buy the players they have used up already. I think di Maria was from there as well and not worth your time or money even though he was very talented. United would have been better off not buying di Maria….. there are others I can’t think of now. Now that I think about it, united have funded real for years.
Why would he do that? United have put him on 300k a week for 4 years

Unlike Kross and Modric his role was very physically demanding. It makes sense his fuses are out much earlier than those who relay more on IQ and natural talent on the ball. I mean, he's not a centre back. And to put him alongside Evans was always going to be trouble with their combined lack of pace against that pacy Palace frontline.
Even when he plays in midfield this season, he's not looked good. His legs have gone, and united don't have enough physically talented players that can protect him.
Did you watch the game?? Him playing next to Evans has nothing to do with the amount of times Casemiro ended up on the floor. He was getting cooked. Players were skip passing him like was carrying ankle weights.
Has nothing to do with him playing CB, he cant run. Watch the first goal, he could have been playing as a DM in that position and he just clumsily dives in because he's terrified of having to run backwards. I've watched him a lot this season and he literally gives away the ball every time he recieves it. He's absolutely finished at the top level.

As a Chelsea fan i enjoyed the loss, but seeing Casemiro just capitulate like that was definitely painful to watch, we are seeing the end of a legend!

Even Nemanja Matic didn't make nearly as many mistakes as Casemiro in a season, despite the similarity of physical decline. Casemiro is truly washed up.

Or the managers system doesnt suit him
You’ve spoilt us rotten with losses this season, sound for that
Its brutal honesty about casemiro
It’s gotta be frustrating for older players to get this talk on them cause players many years younger can perform just the same but but it’s put down to form instead. As soon as a older player has a dip, people say they’re declining. It should be at least 2 seasons for people to be saying they’re declining instead of it being form.

Casemiro was a top key figure at Real Madrid before moving to United under the current coach, and suddenly he is no longer good enough.
No, as someone who watched almost all his games at Real Madrid, I can say the problem is with the club and the coach.
Yup.

or maybe the fact he’s 3 years older since he last played at real, ofc it’s going to be harder at uniyed but look at last season he was unbelievable now the amount of individual mistakes he makes defensively and how much he dives in is just stupid, not to mention he literally boots the ball away eveeytime he gets it, he’s not at the level anymore he’s done
People never want to blame the players do they? He was our best player last year, but he had an injury that took him out for half the season and he's come back and looked completely off it. Playing in holding midfield or at centre back, he looks out of his depth. No patience or composure, just diving into tackles. You can't get away with that in the Premier league
Its crazy how quickly things change. Look at videos from last season, people were saying casemiro was the one of the best midfielders in the league. Im not joking, look at the comments of the video when he scored the lasy minute header against chelsea. Same goes with other players, rashford, varane etc. last season they were flying sky high.
well put anyone out of their position with midfield that offer you no protection and and tactic that pushes the midfield and attack way beyond the defenders .. you have trouble waiting
Something no one mentions when talking about Casemiro’s decline in form this season is the lack of Fred or Sabitzer’s presence next to him in midfield. He is playing the same way as before, he just had legs next to him covering for his lack of mobility in the middle of the park. Another great decision by United to not replace either with a like for like. I feel sorry for Mainoo completely shackled from being able to show his best qualities going forward.

True, Casemiro deserves a lot of the blame for this and for past performances, but imho anyone would look bad in an environment that has been soaking in negative energy for too long.
I honestly believe Casemiro can still play for the top teams in Europe, he needs to get into a better fitness shape, better mindset, and keep trying, and if by chance, Man United find better players and stop having crucial injuries, they may have a chance to get back to the right track
I hope he uses the pre-season not to take a break and eat whatever, but use the whole summer to work with a trainer to lose weight and get sharpness. United have too many defensive injuries and any team will suffer.
Sorry sir, facts are not welcome here. This is a laugh along
But it’s the individual mistakes that are his problems it’s not like he’s not fitting in the mould of the team that’s the problem, the amount of times this season he’s been in midfield and just slid at the air leaving us exposed or like the game today twice he just was being stupid on the ball for no reason and we conceded once from them

I think Carra is projecting his late career experience. Like Case, Carra relied on his physicality as a player and his legs were basically gone in 2009/10 but he held out for a decent season. The three seasons afterwords he was not up to it at all and I think he sees the writing on the wall for Casemiro. why would he leave willingly when he's on more money than he would even likely get at a saudi club. i get carra is just trying to have his say and put his point across but he is in no position to tell a player when its time to move on or retire. its the same in the fight game you never tell a fighter to retire they go out on their terms. i feel thats the same in all sports you shouldn't tell any elite athlete to move on, that decision is solely down to the individual.
Totally agree!!
Don't let go, you've got the football in you
Carragher is a top drawer pundit at this point. Pure enjoyment.
Casemiro's net worth is reportedly well over 100m. Carra is right. He should take it upon himself to move on.
What's those devilish background in the studio?
red devils for united..
The red devils
Carra is absolutely correct. Sancho proved he's still the good quality player that he was back in his earlier BVB run. Same for Casemiro. He has to move out and play better football somewhat else.
lthree La Liga titles, three Supercopa de España, three FIFA Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, one Copa del Rey,
and five UEFA Champions Leagues. … freakn FIVE champions leagues!!!. winning 3 in a damn row 16,17,18
Spot on.
As a United fan I'm disappointed with this team its not Ten Hag Fault though he's trying to sort this team out but the players ain't working with him something needs to change ASAP
No defender can play at United and success. ETH play style leave a lot of place between defenders line & midfielders. When attacked, it's really hard to defending.
Most players regress at United. When was the last time they signed a player and he improved at United. But the decline of Casimero is unbelievable. He was considered the best DM in the world (along with Rodri) less than 2 years ago.
Agree on the regress part. Not only the players, but managers too. If Pep were to manage Manu, I’m sure they will still not be top.
How about Brumo Fernandes, Lisandro Martinez and others?
Højlund also has had better stats than he had in his last season.
@@rishabbhattacharya7143bunny has regressed too.
In his defence, Crystal Palace shown real heart and done a great job, beating the likes of Newcastle and Liverpool before Man United.
There’s this weird obsession in football at the moment where any player 30+ who has a bad run of form the entire internet starts saying the player should hang up their boots. Salah is another example this season it’s bizarre. They’re early 30s they still got multiple years at the top level left a bad run of form can happen to any player at any stage of their career.
